If there is no moving machinery visible along the conveyor, Isak continues on toward the light. Otherwise he will not risk traversing the tight tunnel, and will advise the others to head back so that he too can get out of the tunnel.

There is no moving machinery in the tunnel. Although there are some newly made parts and contraptions being shipped off into another room.

In which case, Iszak crawls along toward the light...

Iszak and P. Ecstasy begin to make their way towards the light. Jumping on the convayorbelt, they feel their weight wish away form under them, [1d6=3; 1d6=3] but are both able to keep their balance despite the force of the tugging belt. Careful to crouch behind a large metal torso, Iszak and P. Ecstasy slide towards the light. As they approch, they are able to make out a frightening sight; within the chamber ahead are rows upon rows of motionless, metal droids. Skinny and human like in appearance--all except for fleshy skin, their appearance exactly resembles that of a man. By the end of the combat round, Iszak and P. Ecstasy haven't quite reached the exit of the tunnel and their presence remains unknown, although the quickly sliding towards the chamber ahead.



After loading the last of his grenades into the launcher, Emerald Blade sends the last of his explosives into the crow of machines within the shop [1d20=10]. The grenade fires a bit farther than intended, but manages to catch one of the targets within the blast of the violate acid [1d10=2; 1d4=3]. The effect, however is minimal.

Upon seeing the explosion, one of the machines turns to the others and says, "Change orders to terminate. Mortal danger detected.". At that, the left arms of the three robots sink into their wrists and are replaced with long, hollow tubes--identical in appearance to Emerald Blade's grenade launcher. Three bangs sound from within the chamber as three metal spheres propel towards the opening of the tunnel [1d20=4; 1d20=16; 1d20=4]

The first grenade hits the wall and bursts into a blazing ball of flames. While Emerald Blade's knuckle hair is singed slightly, it is the second metal sphere that worries him. Speeding into the tunnel, the second grenade explodes, not in flames or acid, but in a blue light that surrounds our heroes. A tingling sensation creeps up the spines of all caught in the glow: Emerald Blade [1d20=13], Delectable [1d20=5], Tas [1d20=9], Nodu [1d20=5], and The Seeker [1d20=20]. Delectable, Tas, and Nodu are overcome by the sensation and fall to the ground, unable to move their bodies, but still able to hear the third grenade detonate on the shop wall and sounds a blast as it bursts into a fiery ball like the first of the incoming grenades.


Ladies and Gentleman, your intentions for the following round.

The Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree tries to shake off the effects of the strange blue light. Assuming she can speak:

"We cannot withstand this bombardment if we stay together... Spread out and attack the enemy from many angles!"

[OOC]Would it be possible to move down the tunnel to where the conveyer belts converge, then travel back up a different tunnel to flank the robots?

Delectable is, in fact, unable to speak and is unable to just about anything else except perceive the world.

The flanking idea is a good plan, however.

Emerald Blade mutters to himself: "As soon as I can move again, I'm taking my two-handed sword down this tunnel and coming back out another one to surprise these metal bastards and get me some new toys!"

P.Ecstasy hears the blasts from the other end of the tunnel, and hustles back to see what's up. When he sees bodies laying all around, he knows what he must do. So strong! He grabs Tas and Delectable each by the collar and drags them toward the rear, hoping to get them onto the conveyor belt and out the back.

[OOC It's not clear to me where or how the conveyor belts converge... could you provide another scratch map for us? I'm not sure whether Iszak could "change belts" and enter the first room from one of the other conveyors or not.]

Iszak sees P. Ecstasy hustle off, and wonders vaguely what is going on back there. But given his position ahead of the company he decides it wise to ascertain whether or not there is a viable route ahead.

He steps off the conveyor (if there is space) before he is shunted into the new room, and peers into the chamber beyond from the safety of the conveyor tunnel. Are there any hostiles in the next room?

Woo hoo! Emerald Blade is going to try to back up the conveyor in order to re-enter the room by a different tunnel and take the machine men by surprise! He aims to hack them all to bits with his two-handed sword, then loot them for more grenades and a fresh launcher

Sometimes Emerald Blade of All Challenges sit and thinks. And sometimes Emerald Blade of All Challenges just sits.

P.Ecstasy fights against the forward motion of the conveyor belt, trying to get back to the group. Only because of his mighty strength and stamina does he manage. Strong as he is, P.Ecstasy grabs his wounded companions and drags them back towards the the location where he last left Iszak.

Iszak steps off the conveyor belt. It is a tigh fit between the whiling plastic and the plated wall, but once fully underneath and crawling, Iszak moves forward at a cautious pace. as he reaches the entrance to the room, he gazes out onto the regiment of filed machines. Not only is there no obvious hostility, but there is no movement whatsoever (besides that of of the conveyor belt, of course).

Emerald Blade taps The Seeker on the back, he leeds the duo to the fork in the belts are they try to outrun the backward motion of the machine. However, the belt proves too quick for the Emerald Blade to run against (needing his Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution to add up to 40). While The Seeker is fit enough to manage, he seems sees companion falling behind and drops back.

With his immense strength and endurance P.Ecstasy has already gathered up the rest of the paralyzed companions.

And you could alway go back to the other tunnel with the stalled conveyor belt if you wish to engage the machines.

Seeing Iszak go in up ahead, P. Ecstasy maneuvers himself and his two comrades onto the conveyor belt, intending to simply ride it into the new room, and then roll off to the side onto the floor once they're in.

As they ride, he turns D. Shade over and delivers a couple sharp slaps to her face to bring her to her senses - P. Ecstasy laughs when he sees some drool fly.

Emerald Blade of All Challenges won't further engage the metal men on his own. If everyone else is heading to the new chamber, Emerald Blade will follow, sword at the ready.
