With a primal yell, Tas rushes out of the tunnel and whacks the robot over its head with his flail.

" Smash the machine's shell, my friends, and drag it back to our tunnel for butchering!" cries the Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree; " I will cover you with my bow!" Delectable notches another arrow and keeps an eye out for reinforcements, confident her friends will make short work of the wounded robot. [OOC]

P. Ecstasy: "Teetwelv, can you send out another signal? One that lets your corrupted compatriots know that the intruders have been destroyed? If you can, please do so. Thank you."

Nodu charges the damaged robot as well, hoping to smash it into submission with her mace.

While the others are busy with the T-12 and setting up the messaging systems, Nodu and Tas run into the room, weapons drawn. Before they can reach the machine--which is now nearly upright--Delectable knocks another arrow and sends it whizzing towards the metal man. [d20=14] The arrow, however, refuses to arch sufficiently downwards and bounces off the petal plating of the back wall.
It is Nodu and her mace arrive first in melee [d20=8], and while her swing is powerful, still bounces off the machine's steel torso. In retaliation, the robot strikes out with its fist [1d20=15] and nodu's meager leather armor is no match for the punch[d10=7;1d10=6]. [Nodu's Hit points = 1d10=8;1d10=2] The strike hits Nodu straight in the chest and she falls to the ground dead, a gaping fist shaped hole remains in what used to be her ribs.
Seeing his companion fall to the ground, Tas invokes a mighty cry and [1d20=17] and pummels the flail [1d10=2; 1d4=1]. The line of the flail wraps around the neck of the machine and with a hardy yank, Tas rips the head from the shoulders. The machine falls to the ground with a loud clang, still and motionless.
So Nodu passes on to the the world beyond and her great bony visage will be missed by all but the P. Ecstacy.

P. Ecstasy: "Teetwelv, what can you tell us of this citadel? And to what extent can you communicate with your corrupted brethren?
"Someone should collect the useful items of the Bone Thing and then dispose of the corpse. I will not touch it."

Delectable shrieks in dismay to see her sister the Bone Woman fall. While a proper burial is obviously out of the question, Delectable chants the ancient words of blessing to ease Nodu's passing to the other side.
Then, she will stand guard at the doorway to the hallway while the others harvest the robot for parts.

After Delectable has completed the ancient ritual Iszak examines the bone woman's fatal wound in detail, "Yeszzz, yeszzz..." he mutters to himself as he comes to a fuller understanding of the physiology of the Bone Men.
If she carried any noteworthy items, he will lay them out on the floor beside her.

Emerald Blade of All Challenges: "I need that blade! I mean, I'd like to have that knife if no one else wants it."
Emerald Blade would like to follow the others and have his own T-12 droid with him to help him batter his foes to inaction! He shows much respect for the fallen, Bone Woman and treats her remains with as much respect as possible.

Tas scours the fallen body of the machine for useful parts. In additional to single triangular yellow gem, he manages to recover a small, insertable cartage, a steel semi-curricular bowl, and three, mostly hollow cylindrical devices.
T-12 turns to P. Ecstasy: Communication systems online, master. There are four receptors in range and are coming closer.

Tas gathers up the loot to examine later. "More are coming. Perhaps we should return to the conveyor tunnels to hide and ambush them."

Iszak, agrees and turns back toward the conveyor tunnel once more.

P. Ecstasy: "Let us consider our next move carefully. The machine hordes are potentially endless, and bar our ability to explore this citadel more fully. We must find a way to remove their aggression.
"Perhaps a ruse? We could direct our Teetwelvs to feign that they have 'captured' us. When presented to the other machines, we could either ambush them, or see where they direct our Teetwelvs to take us. Perhaps deeper, into less securely guarded portions of this fortress..."
