When Delectable reaches the far end of the conveyor belt, she will carefully peek into the room, looking for robot guards and trying to stay out of sight.

Nodu stands, mace at the ready, watching the strange interaction of The Penultimate Ecstasy and the newly-awakened robot...

A bight blue, cone-shaped light beams forth from the robot. "Host registration accepted. Engaging systems. Motors online. Scanners online. Weapon systems empty. Defense systems empty. T-12 online and engaged: what is your bidding, my master?"
Meanwhile, Delectable slowly inches her up way up the stationary conveyor belt. Looking into the machine shop, she notices that there is merely a single robot stand in the center of the room. Strange, however, are the narrow beams of bright red light slowly moving around the room and firing out of the machine's hands.

P. Ecstasy: "Teetwelv, we are in danger. Intruders have infiltrated our citadel. Their nature is unknown, but they have used unfathomable technologies to seize control of your metal cohorts, turning them against us, the human rulers of this enclave.
"I have rescued you from this corruption, but we must deliver this complex from further evil. Can you call up within your mind a picture of a map of this complex? Is there an armory near here? We must... make you whole."

Strange, however, are the narrow beams of bright red light slowly moving around the room and firing out of the machine's hands. Delectable creeps back down the passageway to report her findings to the others. "There is but a single guard ahead, using some devilish technology to scan for intruders. Perhaps if we..." Then she does a double-take at all the strange twirling, flashing, and beeping.

Emerald Blade lowers his sword and looks to see if his own green bauble is still with him... Unless he has thrown it aside, Emerald Blade still possess the green gem.

Emerald Blade thrusts his gem into a similar 'bot. "Let's see if we can double our metallic help!" He's still keeping his blade handy... just in case.

Tas keeps his flail handy, just in case things don't go well with our new 'friends.' First sign of trouble from them, he'll start swinging away.

"Interestink indeeed," muses Iszak as all this robotery unfolds afore his astonished eyes.
"Perhaps it will take some doink to activate all zeez ozers..?"
Iszak checks whether or not all the other robots are missing a "heart stone", and whether there appears to be any apparatus ready to fit such stones to each of the inert robots...

OOC: Sorry I was out for the last couple of day. The internet in our house died and I was unable to get online.
I'll get everything caught up to everything tomorrow.

The T-12 turns to P. Ecstasy. The words "Data Inaccessible." The T-12 remains motionless, but ever perceptive of P. Ecstasy's actions. It appears that the machine may only be outfitted with the most basic of programming.
Emerald Blade pries off the metal plating and inserts his gem into another nearby machine. A similar boot up sequence initiates: "Primary systems engaging. Establishing Imaging Sequence. Please stand still and spin around in a circle."
Taring open the heads of numerous other robots, it seems like each is equipped with the same basic technology.

"I know nothing of programming robots, but I know where we can find another one of those green gems!" declares the Delectable Shade of the Cosmic Tree.
"Who wants to come hunting with me while the scientists play with their toys?"
And with that, she ducks back up the conveyor belt to ambush the [hopefully still] solitary robot in the machine shop.

Emerald Blade of All Challenges will spin his little circle, but if he doesn't get any more out of this 'bot then the other, he'll take his gemstone back and follow the others on a metal man hunt!

Delectable will move to the end of the broken conveyor belt and wait for the rest of the hunting party. While she is waiting, she will carefully observe the guard robot. Is there a pattern to its security sweep? Any "blind spots" in its sensor grid that a catlike attacker might exploit?
[OOC] If any of the hunting party are feeling strong enough, you might travel down one of the moving conveyor belts. This would increase our angles of attack and chances for a successful ambush.

All but the Emerald Blade head down the conveyor belt tunnel. Quietly the five of you creek up the motionless conveyor belt. In the cover of partial darkness, it is unlikely that you be seen by a normal man, but may be detectable by other forms divination. At you reach the mouth of the runnel, lead by Penultimate Ecstasy, is appears that the machine has remained nearly motionless since your last encounter. Only the red lazers continue to move and encircle the walls. The motions of the lazers appear to be random at first glance. With further study, however, one may eventually emerge.
The Seeker chooses to stay behind with Emerald Blade, in case of an incoming assault. After following the robot's booting procedure, it appears that the second T-12 is no better programmed than the first. Scrounging for part from other fallen artifices may prove useful in rewiring the machine .

For the time being, Emerald Blade will command the T-12 unit to follow and defend him, then follow the others. Maybe I'll find some useful items to scavenge for the T-12 from the more hostile metal ones. But for now, the blade is drawn!

Delectable is thinking a quick, coordinated missile attack will take out the machine and hopefully the red beams. She readies her bow. Anyone else?

Delectable realizes she is the only one with a missile weapon, and lets her arrow fly, using her expert knowledge of geometry to strike the robot without disturbing the red beams.

Delectable knocks her bow as everyone else readies their melee weapons. A few seconds pass while Delectable aims her bow--looking for the perfect shot. [d20=20!; 1d12=12!]*. The arrow whizzes past with a shot whistle and collides with a bang straight into the machine's head and knocks the machine to the ground. The red beams fade, but a high pitched squeal emanates into the air as the robot picks itself up from the ground.
"Master," beeps the T-12, "Unless I have just mistaken, a signal has gone out asking for reinforcements."
The surprise round is over. Declare your intentions for the following round.
*From now on, a roll of a 20 to hit automatically allows a d12 roll for damage rather than rolling a d10 for a random die type.
