Another question... when you will release the other Carcosa modules? I have four more in partial stages of completion. Each one covers one quadrant of the Carcosa map originally published in 2008. The maps will be at the same scale as my four AD&D Carcosa modules (i. e., 1 hex = 5 miles). I'm afraid that I do not have an estimated time of release. I will release them as I finish each one. I'm not going to wait to finish them all and then release them all on the same day.

The 2008... you mean the Lamentation of the Flame Princess edition? I've bought it some time ago during an holiday in Sweden :-)

Lulu has a FREE SHIPPING and 15% off discount code: WINTERSHIP Question: Do codes such as this allow for free shipping to those outside the United States? Yes, i shop from Poland in a US Lulu shop and they work every time. I regularly buy and print in Lulu whenever the free shipping appears, since for me the shipping price can easily exceed the value of the shopping cart ;-) Your modules just arrived, they are just fantastic.

Hola! Who here has used Carcosa's variable HD & damage rules with the Carcosan AD&D modules? How did it go? Thanks. Edit: My main concern with the variable dice conventions is that my system of choice (AD&D) has a few more moving parts than OD&D and Lamentations of the Flame Princess, so I am keenly interested in knowing whether the conventions broke the system & how that played with other gaming groups. If my players travel from Arduin to Carcosa, I'll give the crazy dice a toss geoffrey If and when you've got a sec, I'd dig hearing whether you use the crazy dice in your AD&D Carcosa campaign and how it's worked out (if applicable).

I tried that once. My players didn't like it.
Don't let that deter you, though. Your group may be more receptive.

Good to hear from you, bravewolf!
I thought it was cool. It took me a while to warm up to it, but I thought it really added to the flavor of Carcosa.

Yeah, it does fit right in with the unpredictable alienness of that planet. I am probably going to have to bring a couple rolls of Play-doh for my players' hit dice; I have a couple klutzes in the group & we can't have those bones rolling free!

Still waiting for the other Carcosa Modules

Still waiting for the other Carcosa Modules I have done work on all four of the forthcoming Carcosa modules, and one of them in particular has a lot done on it. I'm afraid that I do not have an estimate for a release date on any of them. My next module to be released (hopefully before the end of July) is the first part of the quest for the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar. It is for 1st-level characters, and an "eye tyrant" features in it.

Sweet! On a related note, I have one of the Teeth hidden in Stonehell dungeon, & my mostly 1st-level players are on the cusp of locating it

Will this be part of the Wilderness series, or is it a stand-alone module? Crypt of the Lilac High Priest, like all of my AD&D modules, can readily be used as a stand-alone module. It also can be used as the 1st module in the 16-module series, Quest for the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar. The module is placed in hex 0311 of Wilderness Map 1. This map is printed on the back of this module and is also found in my Worm Wars of the Dwarven Ice Kings. Placing the module in a different campaign world is as easy as falling out of your chair.

I received my test copy of Crypt of the Lilac High Priest today. Alas, it has a couple of bugs that need to be fixed. I plan to do that tomorrow and then order another test copy.

I am planning an ultra-high level mini campaign in the lands of Carcosa as I want to meet some friends after some years. We will use your module, an our "custom" AD&D variant and the character sheets provided in the Maximum Mayem modules by Mark Taormino

I will let them use their old charaxcters, now at god status, so they will need an avatar to go on Carcosa. Avatars will be a middle-low level characters but they could use some of their powers with a check. A failure means a epileptic crisis. I already used this house rule in another campaign it was funny.

Yes. The key word is "likely". The Muses laugh at schedules and timetables.
