Well, I have fixed the pdf. Lulu was forcing the document to resize to 8.5 x 11. But Lulu is not letting me upload a text file for the print version. Hopefully we will have that fixed by Friday. Thanks for letting me know there was a problem.

Hi ! I'm very interested in buying a paper copy of Epées & Sorcellerie, but when I downloaded the latest free copy of the .pdf rulebook, I noticed a strange blank block on the right side of the cover and interior pages. Is it something that will appear on the paper version of the booklet ? If so, could it be fixed ? (I also noticed that, on the character sheet, the "Dxterity" of the first version had been changed into... "Dzxterity" ! It's on purpose, ain't it ? - anyway that's not a major problem since I intend to create my own character sheet ) Congratulations to Snorri for his great job on this refreshing game. Hey there and glad you like Snorri's game! Where did you download the pdf from? There sounds like something must be wrong with the pdf.

Your purses have emptied and your lusts are sated—for the moment. Now the time has come to make some gold and maybe bust a few heads in the process, and you have begun looking for work. Finarvyn, I feel much better now that I know I'm not the only one who doesn't really know what everybody means by sandbox. I started calling BHP's stuff "Old School" because that is what other people called it. Now there are discussions all over the web about how "old school" is such a bad phrase.
Play what you want. The folks that are jealous of the fun we are having might lash out at us - so what?
I say all this, because I don't really know what sandbox means either... ;D

Thanks to the OGL and those with the drive to produce these systems we can now have the classic style game that will bring in the new generation. I only wish I had the money to donate for a proper print run of S&W to get the game more known. You and me both.

Friends,
My best buddy, Dave (Greyharp) is having some serious, exploratory surgery to try and treat a condition that has taken a lot of life out of him in the last several months. The surgery is in a couple of days.
This is a thread where you can let Dave know that you wish him the best / are thinking of him / praying for him.
Thanks guys.

Just wish I had a good heavy-duty cutter to even out the overhang. I might try it by hand with a utility knife, but we'll see...these might have a bit of overhang on them. You and me both! I've been working with an exacto knife and a carpenter's square. It is slow, detailed work but much cheaper than that a $1,000 cutter.

We are back to the original version now (and all "Original Edition" products will keep the red, white & black covers), but the map is now a full 8.5"x11" sheet that can be easily removed from the module.

I'm very, very tempted to release a really retro-looking, high fantasy Player's Section of the WB called, "Perils & Plunder." It would include a thief, bard, paladin, cavalier etc., a weapon vs armor chart and a traditional saving throw chart from LL. Very tempted.

I've sent off the second printing of this module to the printers. I should have it by Friday. We've gone for a new, color cover. In addition, the dungeon map is now a large, full sheet that is easily removed from the booklet:

That is perfect advice that I completely agree with Geoffrey. I would add that you can find good paper and coverstock at Staples/Office Depost.
And please be careful trimming the edge!

Hey guys. I'm pretty sure that I ran across a post similar to the title of this thread several month ago around here. I found it to be quite useful. It said things like every old-school adventure needs: 1.at least one cursed item 2. at least one mystery the characters need to figure out 3 at least one encounter they should run away from... But I have lost my copy of it. Can anyone help me find it or rebuild it?

Hey guys,
BHP would like to continue publishing OD&D-compatible adventures and supplements in both print and pdf form.
But to do that, we need submissions! I am looking for one or two pages for little pdfs and adventures that can be dropped into an existing campaign that are around 6,000 to 12,000 words.
We use S&W to publish these, but we call them "Original Edition" options & adventures so that we don't don't steal any thunder away from Mythmere Games.
If you have something to submit or just some questions, please feel free to contact me by email at: brave.halfling.publishing@gmail.com
