Dave Arneson's Blackmoor - 1 Viewing Here we can discuss Dave Arneson's original Blackmoor (which began in 1970-71) and the "First Fantasy Campaign", which was published by Judges Guild in 1977.
Chainmail (1971) Discussion of the historical and fantasy miniatures rules system Chainmail by Guidion Games and later TSR, particularly the pre-OD&D "Fantasy Supplement".
Metamorphosis Alpha (1976) and Gamma World (1978) - 1 Viewing Discussion for the original edition of METAMORPHOSIS ALPHA (written in 1976 by James Ward) as well as the original GAMMA WORLD (written in 1978 by James Ward). This is also a great place to discuss the new MUTANT FUTURE retro-RPG (written by Dan Proctor in 2008).
Holmes Basic D&D (1978) - 1 Viewing The Holmes "Basic" set was a rules re-organization inspired by OD&D and marks the end of an era, one step before AD&D. While Holmes isn't quite OD&D, it's close.
Judges Guild and the Wilderlands While not a TSR product, Bob Bledsaw's Judges Guild produced many TSR-sanctioned modules, including the City-State of the Invincible Overlord (in 1976). Here we can discuss any Judges Guild products, along with the various incarnations of the Wilderlands fantasy setting.
