I can't remember if I posted this before or not. My roommate introduced me to this and it fit the mood in my opinion: youtu.be/w3WXfiB7OeY Enemite - River of Death

otiv, my first campaigns were all conversions using variations of Stormbringer/Call of Cthulhu rules. I can try compiling some of my old stuff for you if you wish, though it's tricky since most of it was incorporated into the character creator programs I wrote.

Well since Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea is essentially AD&D, that should work well with the modules I am guessing.

Believe me, the whole time I was working on the maps I had to fight the urge to ask Geoffrey a million questions about the new modules. Attachments:

Logan and I grab pics from each others Pinterest to add to our own all the time... I let mine slack over the last few months, but Logan's Pinterest is probably my biggest go to source for more art. Once you start down the Pinterest path forever will it control your destiny and hard drive space...

This is how I run it in my games. I also have the Bone Men blood become visible when it oxidizes outside the body. Skelus: The actual color of Bone Men skin/flesh. Other races see it as transparent, though Bone Men/Women can see themselves. Some other creatures on Carcosa that are transparent are also of the "Skelus" spectrum. Others are just simply transparent. The technology of the Space Aliens can interpret with specialized scanners, though Bone Men who have observed these scans find the image highly lacking, much like an Earth human comparing a Color HD TV image to an old analog black and white television. You get the rough idea but miss out on so much more.

I always wanted "The Other World" figures as a kid. I wondered if the reason my mother would never buy those for me was due to the fantasy (gasp! Dungeon & Dragons) type theme to the figures. Like the cool Crystar figure set with the Sorcerer accessories. She refused to buy it.

Those look to be about the scale of the old 80's Masters of the Universe figures. Does make me want to start working on my 1/18th scale Carcosa figures again.

If I thought my art skill was up to the requirements, I would jump at this. Do you mind if I share this on G+ to help you find somebody to do the art?

LOL, if I ever finish all these and you print them full size based on their resolution you might need a really big room!

Figured I would start a thread related to the discussion of nomadic societies in Carcosa. Here is one I posted on a G+ group the other day: * The Carnival of "Tumultus Nigh Quietus" ever traveling Carcosa to bring Chaos and Death to those who refuse the path of the Great Old Ones. In a Carcosa game I play in called "Masters of Carcosa", our characters are members of the "Rainbow Connection", a troupe of entertainer/adventurers. MASTERS OF CARCOSA - Save vs Total Party Kill

Carcosa Hex: 2013 "Dominion of She of the Lake" As I had been writing some stuff up about this area in my gaming notes, I decided to skip to this area of the map and at least do this hex as a map.

With the limited size of settlements it would seem likely that smaller villages would welcome more of "our own kind" with the appropriate rites of passage and banishing of old ways, if they have compatible ideologies. If nothing else they might bring them in as second class citizens. Better than slaves, but still not equals.

The first campaign I ran for Carcosa was done with rules based on the Stormbringer RPG. My newer more D&D styled campaign is now borrowing some elements from the D20 Dragon Lords of Melnibone.
Wanted to give Sorcerers a way to bind captured Shub-Spawns into weapons and items (Stormbringer style), via a ritual related to Shub-Niggurath. I think I called it the "Biomorphic Reconfiguration of the Dark Mother".
It's been years since I saw the AD&D Lankhmar book. That would have been handy when doing the Sorcerous mutations for my games.
