As a matter of fact, I think the Deep One did get skipped---shall he fire both barrels in Round 2?

Loyal Beast will continue his attack and will shout out to his wraithlings. "Look for a weakness my wraithlings we must find it soon!"

Fated: "Game over! GAME OVER MAN!!!"
Fated gathers his men and high-tails it for the ferry.

Round 2Breath's troops expended their ammo in the previous round. Spend this round to reload 1 barrel, or some other action? Does Dream Stalker still have Princess' Glitter Bazooka, or was it lost/destroyed along with Princess? If she still has it, she'll try switching weapons and firing (if she can do so without affecting the others nearby the Colossus, I forget if it has an area effect or not). Otherwise, she'll simply reload. The two Fighters reload.

Grand continues to stab at the copper colossus with his saber.
The remaining Punjabis will try to run around the statue, hoping to pin the lassoed arm against it's torso.

Round 2 concludes
The Deep 1 minion (receiving +1 to his roll for Shade's heroic leadership) fires with both barrels and hits once for 2hp damage.
Thus concludes Round 2, stand by for Round 3...

Round 3
This time, let's start with the various combatants crawling around on top of the colossus.
Loyal beast's wraithlings cannot figure out how to harm a foe made of solid copper that resists their incorporeal attacks. But the big zombie man hacks away with his 2H sword for 8hp damage!
Grand sticks it with his saber but the attack is deflected. His Punjabis continue their attempt to tie up the colossus' free arm. (Success to be determined by the outcome of the hand's attack, TBD.)
PoH attempts to climb down and must make a Dex check to reach the ground safely, he fails and gives his ankle a nasty twist; he will be immobilized for Round 4, a sitting duck!
Let's see how Breath is doing with that explosive charge: she fails her roll yet again, indicating she has placed the charge but is fumbling with the unfamiliar high-tech detonator. She hopes it will take no more than one more round.
Meanwhile her henchwoman Dream Stalker aims the salvaged glitter bazooka at the colossus' nostril and fires! (I thought about this one long and hard; ordinarily constructs would be immune to mind-altering effects, but what the heck: THIS IS CARCOSA!!!) The colossus attempts a save vs. wands to resist and rolls 8... success! (no effect)
Breath's other two henchwomen and the lone surviving cannibal reload their howdah guns.
Fated to Die and his men bravely run away.
The colossus tries to shake off the Punjabis. It hits 3 times, the rope is severed, and all but one of Grand's henchmen are slain!
With its other hand, it points its torch in the direction of [random target] one of Apothecaria's purple henchmen, who fails his save vs. wands and explodes dealing 1dd=3hp (save for half) to all in the blast radius. Her 3 surviving henchwomen all fail their saves and die. Apothecaria has lost all of her apprentices! Apothecaria herself fails her save and is reduced to 7hp.
Any other party actions for Round 3?

How long will it take Fated and co. to get to the ferry? Do we have to prep it for launch, or can we get it going immediately?
Fated calls over his shoulder: "THE BOAT WILL BE SETTING SAIL SOON, YOU MAY WANT TO BOOK PASSAGE! WE WILL NOT BE WAITING LOOOOOOOONG...!"

Fated calls over his shoulder: "THE BOAT WILL BE SETTING SAIL SOON, YOU MAY WANT TO BOOK PASSAGE! WE WILL NOT BE WAITING LOOOOOOOONG...!" I suppose we can put it to a party vote: 1. The barge is docked on the shore and ready to leave at a moment's notice. (But remember---it's not big enough to carry all of you and your mounts!) 2. The barge is on its final trip over with reinforcements (any NPCs/dinos that were omitted from "the list") and will arrive shortly. Technically the colossus is a couple of hexes inland from the beach, but I am willing to suspend disbelief in the interest of avoiding a TPK. On the other hand, I don't think you guys are doing that badly---you have inflicted a cumulative 71 hp damage over only 3 rounds, with no PC deaths.

Breath continues trying to set the charge, she won't give up!! (Once the charge is fully set to the best of her ability, she'll attempt to climb down the colossus away from the blast area!)
Her henchwomen all fire again (Howdahs & bazooka)!

I'll wait another 24 hours for any additional Round 3 actions.
In the meantime, let's start discussing strategy for Round 4... ?

What now, military strategists of Carcosa?

Well... most of my "troops" were gone after the first round, so. What I have left will press the attack.
... and just hope it isn't a 20HD colossus.

Well... most of my "troops" were gone after the first round, so. What I have left will press the attack. ... and just hope it isn't a 20HD colossus. Can you be more specific? "Shade does X. Deep One does Y. Andre does Z." I would prefer not to control/narrate any PC or NPC actions myself for this fight. I am fine with players offering suggestions for PC/NPC strategy (in fact I might offer some XP bonuses to players who step up as military leaders), but I don't want to make assumptions as DM what someone's PC or henchman should or would do, and then they get killed and I feel guilty. Or perhaps even worse, I use my meta-game knowledge of the colossus' weaknesses to make some NPC save the day, and then y'all feel left out and redundant. ("Bard of Laketown kills Smaug with one shot of his magic arrow as you all watch helplessly.") The cumulative 71hp you've inflicted this fight have already surpassed the average hp for a 20HD creature, just sayin'.... Here is my ruling: Any player-controlled combatant (PC, NPC, henchman, or dinosaur) for whom nobody declares an action, I will assume they've done the sensible thing and run away with Fated to Die. I will hold Round 4 until the weekend to give everyone a chance to carefully consider their actions and perhaps discuss as a group how overall party resources should best be deployed.

Apothecaria will continue to fight, hurling sling stones and diving out of the way if the colossus points its torch at her.

Ok...
Shade will continue his attack with his bone clubs, staying close to the lower back of the colossus so it can't see him easily.
The Deep One Minion and the last Fine Brown Cannibal will lead way ahead of the colossus (out of arm's reach) and fire at its chest with their Howdah guns.
Andre the Gigantosaurus will attack the back, as well.

I don't have any ideas for any brilliant strategies, unless we can somehow trip the thing? That might give us a round of relief as it gets back to its feet? A couple of big dinos ramming its legs might do it... what do you all think? If you think its a good idea, I can get Little Brother move in to give it a try. What other large dinos do we have, just Andre?

Fated shouts from super far away: "Attack the torch!" Hearing Fated's suggestion, Shade agrees that is a wise plan and mentally directs all in the area with Howdah pistols to target the torch the next chance they get.

Really sorry illness has totally knocked me out
Wraithlings swirl it's head maybe it will attack itself in attempts at hitting you!
I can't believe i'm doing this. Loyal beast says quietly to himself.
Loyal beast shouts "Unknown master I know you are there take my body and use it to slay this beast. Unless you wish this form to die your presence is required now!
Loyal Beast continues to hack at the crease he's found hoping the unknown master he's had take control of him before comes to his aid, while Big Al attacks as best as Big Al thinks he should.

Wrapping up Round 3...
Shall I have Andre, Little Brother, and Big Al ram the statue's lower extremities, trying to knock it off balance?
Shade attacks from behind with his bone clubs?
Apothecaria and the 2 surviving Quarry Brothers can get in a volley of sling/howdah fire against the torch?
Anyone else I skipped?
Then as I said I'll post Round 4 this weekend. Sound like the standing order for Round 4 is, unless otherwise stated, all henchmen in range will concentrate missile fire on the torch hand?

Knocking it off balance works for me Mush if you think that's what a big Allosaurus would do. I consider him more an NPC though with animal instincts then a guy i'm in control of.
Also as stated my wraithlings are looking to get the thing to hit itself we'll test the intelligence of this big colossus.

I should also mention that any PC or NPC with less than 4HD who follows Fated's order to "attack the torch" gets +1 to hit for his heroic leadership!

Breath: still trying to place the explosives effectively Dream: fire bazooka at Colossus (her howdah would still need to be reloaded) Devil & Blade: fire Howdahs at torch (as per Shade's mental order) Little Brother: move in and ram Colossus' leg.
