Sorry about the delay in the game (just when things were getting exciting) but there is no electricity at my house due to a freak October snowstorm. I will resume regular posting once the lights come back on, the power company is currently predicting Friday.

Hopefully you can rejoin us with a new character ! Indeed!  Also while I have everyone's attention, a new edition of Carcosa is being published soon by Lamentations of the Flame Princess. (I hope everyone on the boards will support Geoffrey and buy a copy!) What is the consensus on continuing with Chainmail rules vs. migrating to the new system? Incidentally if anyone on the board is lurking and wants to join in, we are always accepting new players. Shoot me a PM! The party hopes to be in Arkham soon; what better place to join the story in progress! |

To be completely honest with you, I'm still a bit confused on some of the combat sequences, so... if the new system is different, I'm all for trying it. But since you're handling the rolls and explaining the outcome of the rolls, I'm fine with keeping it the way it is, too. |

Let's stick with Chainmail for now. We will revisit the topic once the new edition is in print and I've had a chance to read it. At the risk of being accused of RAILROADING my players, let's not spend too long saying goodbye to Whitman, I want to get you on board the Monorail, introduce WotE's character, and off to Arkham! Fated and Minion need 4 and 3 nights' rest, respectively, to regain full health, plus Fated is about to level up. Good time for a trip to the city. |

I think I say "ugh" too much in my woodworking blog - partially because I'm always doing things to say "ugh" at.
