So, very cool, all in all. There are some truly fantastic things in this issue and I frankly don't think there's this much bang for your buck anywhere in gaming right now. We couldn't say that for the charming issue 1, good as it was, but this thing is crazy-packed with stuff.
Which isn't to say we couldn't have done a better job on some things with this one. Melan's submission is frankly amazing and I wish I could have found art for it. I mean, it's insanely cool. I could have done better editing work with Geoff Dale too, though that thing is pretty freakin' cool too, despite my editorial limits (now you can go a little farther into hell!). I could have finished Level 2 of Darkness Beneath so we could have published the levels in order. And there are some other things, plus I'm sure coffee and Rob and people like that will be emailing me with my usual half-dozen typos etc. in short order.
But d**n, I'm really happy about this one. I'll post again here too once I've got my proof copy.
