The good thing with Print on Demand is that an item may technically never need to go out of print unless the seller pulls it from distribution. This is a very good thing. If you run an adventure from some issue of the magazine and a player has a lot of fun and wants to run it later for some other friends, they can just order whichever issue it came in with zero hassle.

If anyone finds a cheaper POD outfit with similar quality to lulu tell me.
James - They are still fulfilling my order of almost a week ago. Hopefully by next weekend.
If I get the time this weekend I may edit from the PDF and just hope that the print copy reflects it. Ideally I'd like to proof a print copy to see the real thing, but taking a week to print something up and put it in the mail seems sort of excessive...
I need to start talking to people about #4!

I've already got what I am submitting two issues in advance, I just need to translate the d**n things to English!

Given the number of people buying the proof copy of #3 I'm going to have to try to edit it from the PDF and hope for the best today (or ASAP), I think. The one serious change I'm thinking of making is adding 4 1-page versions of Rob Conley's Wilderlands Map 19 to the end of the issue. I wasn't going to do this to keep the mag under 88 pages but now that that's blown wide open there's really no point in not giving people the extra print maps. No price change for this.
Other than that I've only found a few annoying minor grammar and formatting things, and those 1-page maps are available free in JPG and PDF on lulu, so it shouldn't be any big deal to those who bought already. Even so, I apologize for whatever changes in the end need to be made!
I suppose in the future I may not post the proof copies for public sale until I've proofed them. For the first two issues this wasn't a matter for any concern, really; only a handful of diehards bought them early. It appears, gentlemen, that we are attracting a bit of attention for the old school - which is great news!

I'm still resisting the temptation...as soon as you give the green light I'll be ordering Issue 3, though. I can't wait...are you done yet? How about now? Now? Hurry Up, already!

I have made the edits but I need to splice them into the PDF. I would say sometime between 2 hours and 2 days from now. Keep you posted.

If I waited for lulu like I probably ought to it would be at least another week, they're STILL fulfilling my order (ie not shipped yet!). But I don't want to do that for a variety of reasons, mostly having to do with needing Issue 3 'out in the world' to approach various entities (other than Yog-Sothoth I mean) about contributions for #4.

OK,
Lulu now has the 'real' edited text. As far as I know there are no more changes. I have not posted ads yet.
I am somewhat nervous about telling people to buy not having gotten an actual proof copy because if lulu screws up the PDF or something there won't be any refunds, etc. available. I don't think they will though, the process has been more or less seamless for the first two issues and this is essentially the same thing.
As soon as anyone has actually received a copy please post and tell us if it looks OK, especially people ordering after this post.

*Sigh*
I guess I'll wait for the confirmed OK after the printed proof copies arrive in folks' hands....
