Hey Steve, no I fell behind a bit last week, but I am taking time off of work this week to make sure all remaining orders get shipped before the end of the month.

Hey thanks guys!
Yes, I am fixing the monster combat chart and it looks like the wand was part of the earlier Dagger text and got dropped from the elf description.
Jimm did a re-write over the summer and a few things got removed as we tried to make Dagger just a bit more open.
Great job with the Saint!

Hi John. Just read your update. It sounds like mine should have shipped then but I've not had any confirmation that it has. I got your email wanting confirmation of details last Saturday and I replied immediately with all those details. In fact, I sent the reply to you twice. But I have not had any response to that email nor any email confirming you have shipped my box (and extra player's books) which I ordered in March 2011. Has mine been shipped? Should I have had an email confirming it shipped with tracking details? I just want to make sure nothing has gone wrong or I've been missed. No, no you haven't been missed. I spend most of Fridays-Mondays doing shipping and yours is sitting in the next batch of internationals to go out on Monday (when I can turn in the customs forms). The tracking number for international shipping is on the customs form. The biggest bunch of shipping so far will happen this weekend. I try to email folks to confirm their address and order at least a week before I ship the item. But this is why I am closing down my online shop - I cannot keep up with all the shipping and emailing with my new day job. I know it is very upsetting to have waited this long only to see it take another couple months for the shipping to be completed. If I could get them all shipped in a week, believe me - I would! Back when I was shipping WB boxed sets with only a part-time day job, it still took me two months to get all of them shipped working every day at it.

Yeah, I was not clear enough in the blog post. I am currently finishing the shipping to everyone who pre-orderd in 2011 and I expect to be be done with that by February 15. Then I will start shipping 2012 & 2013 orders and they should all be out before the end of February because they only make up about 1/3 of all orders.

I pre-ordered in late 2011 (October/November, I think.) But I don't know if I got my box because John's up to that point, or my order somehow got mixed in with earlier orders. I think I may have emailed you today?

Mine did not arrive today. The tracking says its still in Des Moins. I give them one more day then I call them up and demand satisfaction, possibly with a gauntlet. Iowa is not on the way to California!

Same here! Looks good! I have one question, though: I was reading the Blackmarsh supplement and was wondering if there was supposed to be a map in the booklet? Or is that downloadable? Aack! That's my fault. The Blackmarsh map is full-sized and I put it on cardstock to ship with the second batch (because the Holmes edit of DD is also full-sized (8.5 x 11). So many folks were upset the last time I folded or rolled up a map, I wanted to keep it whole, but I did not think about the map shipping separate from the booklet! It is a free pdf product here: www.rpgnow.com/product/89944/Blackmarsh?term=blackmarsh

Right, sorry, I got thrown for a minute by your female avatar. Hey now! Just cause it's an elf, doesn't make it female. ;D Thanks for clarifying John - I assumed that might be case. BTW, any chance you'll be setting up a DD community over on G+ to go with the one for X-Plorers? If it's there already, I couldn't find it. I will let Simon or Cameron do a Google + for DD.

Sorry, very busy Sunday.
Yes, Alchemical Synergy will be sent in the second shipment to everyone who pre-ordered a DD Boxed Set (with the three sample modules and the Holmes DD edit), but it will also be available as a pdf and POD right after that - probably two months from now (gotta get the boxes shipped first).

Oh wow cool! Ok so then a few new questions: • I ordered Delving Deeper last October (I think). Is that considered a "Pre-Order" or is that for the really old orders? • This system-neutral version of your DCC modules, is that what the "Tool Kits" are? And if we subscribe to Appendix N does that mean we can choose for the system neutral version? Sorry for the ignorance Yes, you pre-ordered a DD boxed set, so you WILL GET these modules for DD. Yes, that is part of the "kit" in the Appendix N Adventures Toolkits. They are made for DCC RPG, but since the map and player's handouts are separate from the module text (different files in the pdfs and in the print version because the player's handout is on its own card stock sheet and the map is on the back of the module cover. When folks purchase an Appendix N Adventures annual subscription or one of the Appendix N Adventure pdfs, you automatically get a system neutral version of the module too.

Okay, I am still shipping 2011 pre-orders, but I have emailed everyone who ordered one through April 2011. If you ordered a Delving Deeper Boxed set between December 2010 - April 2011 and have not received an email from me confirming your order and you address, please email me at john@bravehalfling.com.

Yes. Both of them are being sent to folks you have pre-ordered a Delving Deeper Boxed set in the second shipment (with the WB player's book and the Holmes edit). They are just text and maps (no art) and will not be available elsewhere.
However, my DCC modules now feature separate maps and player's handouts and a system-neutral version of each module with text only on the left column so that one can write in whatever game system stats you want to use. They are designed that way so that it would not take long to prep and use the modules for any system.

If it helps know where we are at, just as many Delving Deeper Boxed Sets pre-orders were received at BHP in January-February 2011 as were ordered from March 2011 - today. In other words, just over half of the pre-orders will be shipped by Monday. Folks that ordered from March 2011 thru this week will be getting their boxed set tracking numbers in the next couple of weeks.
I would post more updates, but I am busy working all day.

Its a print run of at least two because John just sent me my ship confirmation!!! And you ordered yours on Jan 24th 2011, right? Seems like it might take a while to get to March 2011. I suppose it could be worse...I could have pre-ordered in 2012!! Yours ships out on Friday.

Hey guys. I am busy shipping boxed sets (and will continue to be for a while), but I wanted to let you know that BHP WILL be releasing a single-volume version of DD (in soft cover and hardcover) through POD. I am going to redo the monsters section to pair the appropriate art to it's corresponding monster and then I will need to wait for print proofs - so it will be a few weeks before it is ready. I just wanted to reassure folks a BHP single-colume version of DD is coming.

I use X-P E-suits that up their armor class and this helps a bit. But I have been gaming X-P for a few years with my boys using just d6 damage and it works just fine.

maybe a bestiary featuring generic pulp and 1970's space monsters with tables to make them more individual. Sorta like The Random Esoteric Creature Generator, but specific to cheesy pulp sci-fi. Sounds good to me.

You know, I think we could come up with some aliens & monsters on the Google+ community and then I could release then as little pdfs until we get enough to bundle them together. It could be a community project! I said it was COMING in 2013! I got it set up a couple weeks ago and had not got around to inviting folks yet. Oh wow. I thought this forum was gone and I just happened to notice it this evening. Yes, I am working on X-plorers stuff now too. We have a new module coming out in March, a number of little pdfs and a major campaign setting all in 2013.
