Basking in the Glory

Hi all -

We are going to enjoy having finished for a week(ish) before revving up for #15. I know there are some worries about the magazine ending...on the one hand, I do feel that I can't run this the way I used to for a variety of reasons, but on the other hand, I am committed to finishing what we started - and truth to tell I think we will need to go at least to issue #16 to do that. Plus there is the Tables book still to be done, and we have another fiction release coming up, and it might be nice (though I don't know if I will ever have the time and energy to do it right) to do a collected "Darkness Beneath" megadungeon that unifies the separate publications - so as you can see even if we are 'finishing up' there is tons of collective old-school goodness left to produce together.

So - enjoy the new issue - and while I can't say how much more at this point - there is definitely more to come!

Good! Not only am I loath to see FO! go (but understand that you've done a heroic task in keeping it going this long with limited time and staff), but I need one and maybe two issue to finish up Wildwyck to the point where I feel it didn't die on the vine. New submission will be forthcoming!

I'm really pleased to see that there are some plans to continue beyond #14. I'm most interested in seeing a collected Darkness Beneath; I'm not sure why as I don't run or play the sort of games that involve megadungeons and I haven't been involved in those articles (yet!) but it seems like a collected edition is something that should happen!
