What's on your bucket list for games you've wanting to give a go, but haven't had a chance to yet?
I've recently crossed a few off my list; Chainmail, Hawkmoon (Chaosium box set version), AS&SH, Morrow Project
Have scheduled to play a game of Diplomacy soon with a large group - that has been on my list for awhile (I know it's not an rpg)
Games (rpg or wargames) currently on my bucket list: Stars Without Number, The Russian Campaign, M.E.R.P.

Good question... PENDRAGON! Also Stormbringer to a slightly lesser extent. I've been creeping around eBay looking for affordable 1st edition box sets of these. I'm guessing Hawkmoon would be fun as well. Those three would make a nice shelf counterpoint to my '77 and '81 D&D box sets.
I think that the BRP system is pretty great, though my experience is limited to only 2 sessions of Call of Cthulhu 12 years ago.....
I'd also like to play a game of OD&D with a heavy influence of Arduin and other amateur press supplements (Little Soldier etc). Or maybe a game of Encounter Critical. And I'm also interested in Palladium Fantasy 1st edition.

Just started a Runequest Classics campaign (Balazar/Sartar). There’s so much I would love to try in the future:
Various Middle-earth ideas (curious about Rolemaster rules, TOR rules, MERP modules, and TOR modules, but pretty sure I can do a OD&D homebrew that's better) Various Star Trek ideas Necropolis with AD&D Call of Cthulhu - Shadows of Yog Sothoth Call of Cthulhu - Miskatonic Region homebrew Various Star Wars / Encounter Critical ideas ASSH Caverns of Thracia Dark Tower Traveller Vault of the Drow Verbosh The Lost City City State of the Invincible Overlord Castle Zagyg Mud Sorcerer’s Tomb Dying Earth RPG Various Arthurian ideas

I can do a partial bucket list - a Middle Earth campaign, Warriors of Mars or some other Barsoom campaign, Boot Hill, Dark Tower, Caverns of Thracia, the orange cover version of Palace of the Silver Princess, the Lendore Isles series.

I'd like to try WoM or maybe OD&D w/ a Barsoom conversion (I think there is a set of monsters etc. needed for that, or someone could convert WoM itself).

My list:
a multi-mode campaign, OD&D like + chainmail or other minis for tactics + PBEM for strategic level SCS & OCS by the Gamers (not too picky about which) Close Action campaign Pacific War by VG
Oh, and a couple more:
a macro scenario of Panzer Leader. This was one of the best wargame experiences I had BITD - there was a lot of fog of war due to all the people and it was a blast.
a WWI air campaign. Not sure of the details or system

The new Star Wars: Edge of the Empire game looks interesting, albeit expensive.
I'd like to try out the Domains at War expansion for ACKS.
I wanted to try the Lords of Waterdeep board game but don't have enough gamer friends nearby to warrant the investment, so I'm happy there's an iPad version coming soon.

I'm pretty good with this. I feel satisfied with d&d and warhammer. I'm not a big genre person but the only other game I would like to play one day is something in the vein of mondern esoteric investigation. Not a big Lovecraft fan and these games tend to skew towards Cthulhu Mythos. I'd rather a Twin Peaks or Gravity Falls style game. I have no idea what game that might be but I would like to play it!

I currently have maxed out at 12 players (6 in Logres, 6 in Cameliard), but people tend to drop out as in all pBp games, and then I just bring in the next one on the list If you would like to check out the campaign logs, go to makofan.proboards.com

I owned RIFTS and WFRPG growing up, but never played either. I'd also love to play Dangerous Journeys, Traveller, RQ2, Gamma World and CoC. I know I'm forgetting something. Oh well!

I'm lucky that I got to play so many of the classics back in the day. While I'd enjoy a good Amber Diceless or Barsoom game, for example, it's not like I've never gotten to do it.
The game that I'd really like to play someday is Ron Edwards' Sorcerer. I've owned a copy of the game for a decade or so, have bought all the supplements and adventures, recently bought the annotated revision, but don't have anyone around who wants to GM it for me. Or, in the couple of cases where I found someone, it never matched my free time.
Another thing on my bucket list would be to play Metamorphosis Alpha with Jim Ward as the GM. I've GM'ed MA many times over the years but haven't gotten to play often, and it would be awesome to experience Jim's game firsthand.

I don't really have a bucket list of games I would like to play. If I have the opportunity to play something I most likely will, but I am happy to read through games and lift any thing that looks fun and try it out in my OD&D campaign.

So, after posting my three bucket list games above, I said to myself, "Self, there has to be a cheap way to get the original Ghostbusters game on the inter webz!" So I googled it, and here was the top link: dungeonmistress.net/tag/ghostbusters/This dungeon mistress appears to be having quite an exciting time playing Ghostbusters!

OK, so:
Diplomacy Tactics II Chainmail Braunstein
Empire of the Petal Throne Runequest (2, 3, or 6) Gamma World
I guess I'd also add that I'd like to play Traveller and Pendragon going beyond 1 session.

I have Panzer Leader as well and have brushed over the rules. I could use a south end wargame opponent as Garys Games is sort of a haul for me sometimes so I will hit you up offline. Only squad level game I have played to any degree is Up Front (cardgame based)

I owned RIFTS and WFRPG growing up, but never played either. I played RIFTS a few times, and a number of other Palladium games. This was in my post-AD&D phase, where I was a teenager into power gaming and "cool stuff". Then the system wore me down like it tends to do with most people. I'd like to play it again, and throw out/hand wave a bunch of the rules. It has a certain wackiness and randomness I like now. Similarly, I'd love to play a Heroes Unlimited or Ninjas and Superspies game where everyone had to create their characters using only the random tables. One of the things I've come to appreciate about Palladium is this heavy use of randomness for creating a character, it becomes a surprising mini-game of its own, and the antithesis of the bland self-entitlement of most point-buy systems.

I’ve been checking it out. I really want to like it, it just seems to be missing too much stuff for me to be able to do with it what I want. I want more “stuff” — spells, magic items, monsters. I need playable wizards and rangers. I don’t usually object when a game company focuses on modules and regional sourcebooks instead of rulebooks, but in this case the core books are just too bare bones — I could do way more with OD&D. And the modules, frankly, are terrible. WotR is AMAZING. Try it with four players. You will NOT be disappointed!

You can find some excellent fan made supplements in the offical TOR forum that address most of your needs. forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9and forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=62As far as playable wizards are concerned I find the lack of support in this matter is actually a good thing! I mean Wizards were unique individuals and populating Middle Earth with PC Wizards would create the same problems all previous Tolkien rpgs had (MERP, LoTR etc) "fluff-wise". But that's just my opinion As for War Of The Ring I'll definately try it out soon! I was under the impression that a 2 player game was better in terms of flow but since my regular gaming buddies are 3 or 4 we'll try it together after your suggestion!!!
