www.dndmerch.com/red-dragon-cover-tee.html#.UKV3eIawWEsThe Holmes box art has finally been made available again as an official t-shirt (link to product page above). I ordered two and thought I would give everyone a few thoughts about the product. First of all, the applique is not a complete reproduction of the artwork, that is, not like a poster. Instead, the decal is distressed as if aged and pieces are missing, particularly at the corners. This shows up on the website but you have to click to see the larger graphic to get a good idea of how it looks. Since both t-shirts seem to be identical in what is missing I would assume this is some sort of artistic presentation decision. It is a minor point that barely diminished my appreciation for the product but one I thought potential buyers might want to know before placing an order. A slightly bigger quibble is the quality of the tee. It is very lightweight, and for $25US I would have expected something comparable to a Haines Beefy T-Shirt. The shirt feels flimsy, though I have no idea how they actually wear since they are brand new. The workmanship looks good, so I can only hope the fabric holds up to repeated wearings ... I don't buy t-shirts to hang 'em in the closet!

I'm rather disappointed so far - I'd prefer the blue shirt which only seems to be available in women's sizes, I really don't go for the pre-distressed look (not in teeshirts nor in jeans, and it took me years to get my USAF A2 to look the way it does), and I was really hoping for a good, solid shirt under the decal. Let us know how it stands up after a few months, Cameron!

*bump* Just noticed the D&D T-shirts, including the Holmes one, are now priced $20 instead of $25. I'm wearing the Holmes one right now - it's nice quality. Shipping is still $10 if you order only one shirt but it's lower for the 2nd, 3rd etc shirts. www.dndmerch.com/red-dragon-cover-tee.html#.UR_mU-hXJ-E

But they're still adhering to their blatantly sexist stance of selling different designs in men's and women's sizes. I want my blue Holmes teeshirt!

I ordered three different ones - The holmes one, the trampier minotaur one, and the monster mash-up that includes the catoblepas. I expected the monster mash-up one to be my favorite, but it is SO distressed, that you can barely make out what it even is.
Turns out the holmes one is my favorite. But I also agree that I wish the shirts would've been 100% cotton. These types of shirts (I think they're called poly-cotton) have a tendency to stick to my undershirt and create a rather unflattering look.

Hey, if you're lucky like me, and have numerous family members who quilt, save those shirts and turn them into a quilt, or tapestry! Crafty and decorative, and it puts you in fiber artists good graces!

Would anyone who got shirts care to share their size in inches, like they do on eBay for example for vintage clothing (see below)? Especially if anyone got a S/M/L.
Actual Measurements taken with a tape measure while garment is lying flat.
Chest = measured pit to pit = 25"
Length = measured from top of shoulder to hem = 31"
Shoulder = seam to shoulder seam = 19"
I have a terrible time finding shirts that fit me properly since I'm Elf sized.

Oh, I just noticed this thread.
So - do I shell out the 20 pazoors for the official shirt, or do I buy a blank tee and a color inkjet transfer and make my own...?
Decisions, decisions...
