Just curious how many have tried this. I think it is great, have been a player in a couple games thus far. Group video chat for free makes for a cool new medium in gaming. An especially nice alternative to trying to find a like minded gaming group if you live out in BFE.

Or even if you live in a populous area, but don't want to go out somewhere to game. I like being able to sit down for a game once I'm home from work in the evening and not have to worry about getting home after.
I still do go out to game of course (I'm going out tonight in fact), but ConstantCon/Google+ just makes it possible to do that much more gaming.
And that's a good thing.

As my school schedule has crept further and further into the evenings and living on the West Coast, I am no longer able to participate in many G+ games. That being said, when I have a chance, I've getting to run the Vats of Mazarin and play Darith the German, swashbuckler-wanna-be fighter.

Yes indeed! I don't have an in-person gaming group, so G+ is my only opportunity to play. It is becoming something of an "embarrassment of riches" - there are more games going on that I would like to play in than I have time for! I've been running (aperiodically) some D&D (somewhere in the OD&D/Holmes/early 1e area) and am getting ready to settle into a weekly schedule - for me, G+ has been a fantastic opportunity to meet and play with many of the blog & message board people I have been interacting with over the last couple of years. I will stop now, because I could sing its praises longer than anyone is likely to want to read!

I can't recommend G+ enough. It's really the best thing to hit gaming since funny dice. The only downside I've found is the one ragnorakk mentioned - too many games, too little time. I'm currently running a weekly AD&D classic module crawl and a weekly OD&D Hyborian game using Greyelf's Age of Conan hack. I've also run several Dungeon Crawl Classic RPG one shots. I've gotten to play in a first edition Stormbringer game and a weekly Runequest game. I've got a list of about ten other games I want to run and another twenty I'd like to play in.

crusssdaddy: thanks. Yes, those are mine. I never really saw that much discussion of the one page dungeon contests, actually, although a ton of people downloaded them (especially during the first contest). Maybe because of the sheer volume of them. It's kind of like having stuff in Fight On! that way...you probably won't see a lot of chatter about it; you just hope someone out there gets some use out of it!
