A poll very similar to this has been running over at Dragonsfoot for some time and I thought it would be fun to do it here.
If you owned a Dungeons & Dragons T-shirt would you wear it out & about?
If you have one, please post a picture if you can.

Back in the day my gaming group designed our own shirts for our gaming group. A couple of the talented people in our group created the art work and did the screen printing themselves for the group. The shirt that fit me (XXL) has long since worn out, but there was an extra shirt that was a small size that I kept as a souvenir and while it was still wider than my scanner I have enough of it for you to get the idea of how it looked and I am posting it here. I don't currently have a shirt, and would like one, but back in the day I wore it and wore it out.

I don't wear too many t-shirts, but using this [attached] as a basis..... that would be cool! Attachments:

The only D&D shirt I own is a d20 one, put out by Steve Jackson Games when 3e first came out. It has the d20 logo on front, along with stats for a "T-shirt monster" and the OGL on the back. Got it at DragonCon. Wore it often. I need something cooler. I think OSRIC shirts are available.
My wife has three D&D related T-shirts.

Show-off. I've been thinking I need to get one. Maybe in this thread, like Alex and the Sensei have already done, we could post some pictures of the ones we think are grooviest? @sensei: I'd wear that shirt in a heartbeat. How could we make it? Alex: I dig the Dungeon Master shirt--understated, says it like it is = awesome.

Methinks I could put together a graphic, put it on a tan shirt..... somewhere it needs to say something like, " Certified 1974 Grognard" in the old "D&D lettering style. I know I guy that does sports shirts.... he may be able to do something like this if we give him the graphics. I don't know what the dpi, etc. would need to be for a shirt. but I'm sure it's 300 or less.

@pedr: Apparently I need to actually read initial posts, since you of course originally suggested exactly what I redundantly posted! @sensei: Personally, I wouldn't feel the need for the "1974 Grognard" thing, but then I'm a minimalist when it comes to t-shirts...

I have done some silkscreen and fine detail can be problematic (obviously someone more skilled will get better results with less spoilage). 100 or so threads per inch screen is typical at least for me, higher is possible, usually a higher thread count will be used on paper rather than a shirt. I think it makes sense to embrace this, not fight it. Big bold design in 1 or 2 colors.

@jmmccann et al. I think I was attempting humor with the "Certified" remark. I don't see myself wearing something with that on it. Especially if it rings of the "Smith/Jones Family Reunion: 2gether 4Ever" variety I see at the thrift-stores when we're rummaging for cigar boxes and game parts. :-)

Those are some epic t-shirts right there. I liked the sudo one best (yeah, not D&D, but Unix/Linux geekiness)

I don't own one, but I would have no problem wearing one if I did. My wife does have one that she sometimes wears. It's a Chaotic Good alignment shirt.

I have several gaming t-shirts, and I'm thinking of adding one of those red box shirts to my wardrobe.
* I have several Amber shirts; some with quotes, others from AmberCons. * I have a 3E shirt from the year 3E first came out * I have shirts for Colonial Gothic and Thousand Suns (both Rogue Games shirts) * I have several KODT shirts, plus a HackMaster one (Kenzer & Co) * I have several Order of the Stick shirts * I have one from 7th Sea
I probably have others I've forgotten about. My problem is that I never want to get rid of them, even if they shrink and/or wear out. I mean, I can't replace an "AmberCon V" shirt even if I wanted to.

I have these:
* GaryCon III long-sleeve * LotFP Fighter * Zak's Flailceratops one
I would like more though. I started designing one that was plain black-on-white, says "Dungeons & Dragons" in Quentin at the top, and has the Fight On Guy from the end of the lbbs. Maybe someday I'll get it made up.

I'd own more than one if SOMEBODY made it in a 6XT! There's a good reason I call myself the NorthTroll on Yahoo.... *Sigh* I'd wear it until it was falling apart and make quit squares out of it afterword!

Awesome, though due to my own history, I'd prefer the Moldvay cover. What I don't understand is how it's not completely illegal to sell that...

Think Geek is a legit company, so I would imagine it's licensed. That is the cover they used for the 4E starter set. That would also explain the stupid-high price tag.

I'd definitely wear a D&D t-shirt if I had one (assuming it's cool, but if it wasn't I wouldn't have it!).
I've been wanting to make a t-shirt saying "Beware of the owlbear", but I haven't gotten around to it.

The great thing about living in Korea is that you can be as nerdy as you want in public. When people see you walking around in a d20 t-shirt they don't think "nerd", they think "foreigner!"
So yes, I would totally wear a D&D t-shirt.

I love the dungeon crawl shirt, coffee, I might have to order one of those. For those wishing to make your own shirts, shirts are like other printing in that you want 300dpi at the very minimum and 600dpi is typical. I've had one printer request 1200dpi before. EDIT: Noticed this for the description of the dungeon crawl shirt "Roleplayer feeling nostalgic? No greater treasure then than the Dungeon Crawl tee, featuring beloved dungeon map symbols, and a hidden homage to the penultimate Dungeon Master, the great Gary Gygax!" Must be a Dave Arneson fan.

Considering that penultimate means "next to last", this is a very strange quote indeed Even if it was intended as oblique homage to DA, then it should rather have said "next to first"; sometimes referred to as "second". Perhaps they really meant "ultimate", but thought "penultimate" would sell more tees?
