Using a Google custom search engine, and a blogger blog, I whipped together a quick OSR-specific search engine. osrsearch.blogspot.com/I know I didn't get all the important sites (though there are lots there already, 102 at the time of this writing). If you want me to add a site, just reply here, or leave a comment on that site. To see the sites that I am already indexing, see here: osrsearch.blogspot.com/p/sites-indexed.htmlTry it with a few queries like "thief" or "carcosa". It works pretty well it seems.

Oh, and here is code for embedding if anyone else wants to include a search box somewhere: <div id="cse" style="width: 100%;">Loading</div> <script src="//www.google.com/jsapi" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> google.load('search', '1', {language : 'en', style : google.loader.themes.MINIMALIST}); google.setOnLoadCallback(function() { var customSearchControl = new google.search.CustomSearchControl('015800199008943638690:e6ufoimln7g'); customSearchControl.setResultSetSize(google.search.Search.FILTERED_CSE_RESULTSET); customSearchControl.draw('cse'); }, true); </script> One can also access it here: www.google.com/cse/home?cx=015800199008943638690:e6ufoimln7gThough that doesn't show the full list of sites indexed or allow anyone to easily request that their site be added. You can embed a specific search in a link by appending &q=searchterm to the URL of this search engine. For example: www.google.com/cse?cx=015800199008943638690%3Ae6ufoimln7g&q=thief

Very cool! I added a widget with the code to my blog. I also put your blog address in the title. ;D
You know what's cool about this? I can enter AD&D as a search term, and google doesn't change it to D&D.
