This thread is aimed at those who know what the "0e Reformat" document is. If you don't, disregard this thread.
When I put the document together I made some decisions that I now regret, such as including some text from Chainmail and Gygax's FAQ from The Strategic Review, without clearly marking such text as being from another source. I also excised all references to three separate booklets because the reformat was a single document.
I've been promising to revisit this project all year but have been busy with other things. Even though I am still busy juggling various projects I have decided now's the time and I hope to complete it by early December.
So here's the thing - I am open to opinions and advice. I have a volunteer who knows his way around publishing software who will do a better job than I did of making the document look good. I also have a crusty old grognard from this forum who is willing to cast an editorial eye over the project.
For those interested in giving some input I have started a thread in that dark place deep underground. And for those who don't know their way there (and sorry, I'm not at liberty to divulge that information), feel free to email me instead - trowuttatwo at yahoo dot com dot au
Cheers Dave

By Crom! Kudos to you learned sage for this wonderful re-edit. Rather than re-doing it for minor nit-picks; any chance for a compiled 3LBB+Greyhawk document?
If 'yea', I promise my sword-hand in it's service to initiate my son and nephews to it's riddle of steel, to have them thieve, reave and slay; to tread the jeweled thrones of my campaign world under their sandalled feet. ;D
Also, exalt!

Austrodavicus -
I would be more than happy/honored to help with editorial work. I was one of many that helped Matt with the latest revisions of WB/Core and greatly enjoyed doing so. The more eyes you have, the better!

any chance for a compiled 3LBB+Greyhawk document? Yes bycrom, but I have a feeling someone will beat me to it. If not then I'm happy to have a go, but it wouldn't be till next year. Busy, busy, busy. Thank you for the exalt, much appreciated. Dave

The more eyes you have, the better! Definitely. Thanks for the offer foxroe, I'll take you up on that and contact you when the revision is done. Much appreciated.

Inspired by austrodavisus' 0e reformat (and Jimm Johnson's Skull Mountain/Planet Eris document) I'm working on my own 0e reformat for my own 0e games (with optional rules sections) utilizing material from the 3LBBs, the three supplements , Empire of the Petal Throne, and other sundry resources.
One of the conceits I'm using for this is to include all of the optional/supplemental rules I believe I would likely use, and than use "strikeout" text to exclude material that wouldn't be relevant for a certain campaign. i.e. I can include the information for variable weapon damage or thieves, but have them "struck-out" for a game that doesn't use them.

Excellent Blair, that's exactly the sort of thing I had hoped people would do with this. I hope also that we'll get to see it, it sounds fantastic.

For those interested in giving some input I have started a thread in that dark place deep underground. And for those who don't know their way there (and sorry, I'm not at liberty to divulge that information)... [Admin voice]
I've gotten a flood of e-mails expressing interest in "that dark place" and thought I'd quickly address the issue.
Some things ought not be public and so there is a place where some people go for things like that. It's intentionally vague, hard to find, and hard to enter because of the nature of the place. Such secrets are sometimes shared with folks who have been around for a while and have proven themselves trustworthy because I don't want the boards to get shut down.
When folks have been a member for a while and have a decent amount of participation (e.g. post count) it's okay for others to clue them in. Otherwise, I'd rather not say much about it. Sorry to be a pain.
