I'm typing up a "house" version of OD&D and have decided to include the joust rules from Chainmail. I was rather unhappy with the graphic depicting the target sectors and decided to redo it. Since I thought this might be of interest to some of you I decided to share it. This is obviously not my original work, it is a tribute to Gygax and Perren. This image was generated with AutoRealm.

Very nifty!
Have you checked out the variant on jousting from The Dragon #17? It takes into account the character's level, not just his position and aiming point. You might find some ideas there you might want to use.

Hi Dubeers! I also asked myself how I could use it in my french od&d clone. Finally, I just houseruled a bit to give an easy way to make falls & bad moves in fighting.

I've checked out the Jousting alternative in TD-17 and I like it very much! Thanks for the information.
FYI: There was a second article in TD-118 that was quite extensive but I found that material didn't meet my particular needs.
