Hello everyone.
It's been a while since I've done D&D stuff generally. But recently I've caught the bug again, and wanted to share some maps I've been drawing for my underworld. I'm looking for feedback, inspiration, and critiques in that order. (For all of these, the width of a "normal" hallway is about 10 feet.)
This is level Epsilon's schematic. I've found them useful to make sense of very large levels. Level Epsilon is part of my megadungeon, which will probably end up having enough levels to fill out the greek alphabet. (though not all of them will be as sprawling)
Here is about a third of it (maps 0001 and 0002). It is more or less the equivalent of a "level 1". There are goblins and skeletons and slimes, though I haven't come up with a whole monster roster yet. Suggestions are appreciated. Because there are so many rooms, my plan has been to selectively key them, and then leave the rest up to improvisation and dice rolls. The key is: Yellow areas contain treasure, Red areas contain a monster lair, and Cyan areas contain some notable feature.
This is about a third of the Ruins at Altreboenar. I decided that this is the remains of a library inhabited by were-sheep librarians, though I still need to rework big parts of it.
This is TREE DOOR CREEK DOOR. The entrances are about 500 miles apart overland, but it's only a few feet travelling underground. It's a known shortcut by certain travelers. It's also the lair of a washed-up opera singer with a very fancy hat who's kidnapped a composer to write an aria that will restore her to her former glory. If you're trying to get from one entrance to the other, it's a "straight shot", but there's plenty to be distracted by.
Please let me know what you think of these.
