A few hex descriptions:
In a sunken grotto near a sapphire blue lake surrounded by lush forest, dwell 180 Cultists* led by an Evil Lama. Their tunnels spiral downwards into the depths of the earth. The tunnels form strange geometric patterns of viewed from above. The lowest levels are inhabited by 24 Ghouls.

In a church of blacked stone lives an Evil High Priest who is served by 2 Curates. 10 Specters, mounted on horseback, do the Evil High Priest’s bidding. The church is protected by 80 loyal Cultists, armed with crossbows and short swords.
A hidden library stand perches on a treacherous mountainside. The library, said to contain knowledge of every spell known to man, is protected by a Lawful Wizard and a Gold Dragon. They are wary of outsiders who would use the library’s knowledge to satisfy personal greed and ambition. Their retinue contains 140 men-at-arms, all under the Wizard’s geas to defend the library against trespassers for 20 years’ time. The Wizard possesses a Staff of Wizardry with 130 charges remaining.
A Neutral Lord controls 4 Fire Giants using a Ring of Giant Control. His castle is situated above a burning volcano and defended by 90 men-at-arms. The giants work a sweltering furnace, contained in a small dungeon below the castle. There they produce arms and armor of exquisite quality.
In a stone tower, standing above an abandoned dwarven mine, lives a Chaotic Wizard and his cunning Warlock apprentice. The mine houses 90 orc guards and a balrog bound to the Wizard’s will by a Charm Monster spell. The Wizard is cursed by a Ring of Weakness, and he can no longer stand from his throne. His apprentice refuses to release the Wizard and rules the castle in his master’s stead. The warlock keeps the wizard alive, for his masters death will set free the dreaded balrog.
In a tall stone tower lives a Chaotic Wizard, set on dominating the Waste subjugating the Barony under his control. 6 Manticores, Superhero, and an En-chanter have flocked to the Wizard’s aid. 70 mercenaries live in tents outside the wizard’s tower. Unfortunately the sneaky bandits in hex 13.04 have preventing the Wizard from expanding his base of power. The Wizard will pay 50 GP for the head of each bandit and 1000 for the head of their leader.
600 Dwarves inhabit the last living dwarven city in all the Wastes. The city is ruled by a Lawful Dwarf King and 12 Dwarf Heroes. The city is split politically. The city debates whether risk reclaiming their race’s former glory or to conserve what little of their strength remains.
In a white stone castle lives a Paladin Lord. The castle is protected by 110 crossbowmen and surrounded by a wide moat on all sides with no apparent en-trance. The Paladin Lord is served by the Order of the Griffon, 6 Heroes mounted on Griffons. A Magician serves loyally as the castle’s steward.
