Hi guys,
I only recently learned that Steve Marsh developed a Mystic PC class, "a sort of a cleric" based on the mystics "of the Indian subcontinent".
Steve's contribution was used by Tim Kask to inform the psionics system in Eldritch Wizardry, but what else is known about it?

I asked Steve about that, and his answer was pretty much what you wrote here. He didn’t recall much more and, in all fairness to him, it was a long time ago.

Thanks - I'm guessing that the psionic "fighter" is what the "mystic" turned into:
So perhaps the closest thing to a "mystic" is a psionic fighter, without psionic combat ability?
Or perhaps basing the class on a cleric with respect to benefits/restrictions (minus the turning ability) and using the fighter psionic abilities?
