I've been running this on Facebook; what follows is a recap of the first three weeks of game play:
The Justice Society of America went to Africa to solve a mystery, and unearthed Four Ancient Kings. The Kings, having great mystic powers, put all nine of the JSA to sleep.
When they woke up, they found themselves in a canyon filled with ancient ruins, and met an elf called Melf who had just arrived to search the ruins. He knew it to be the fabled Lost City of the Elders.
The City was inhabited by at least three races of monsters, what Melf called goblins, hobgoblins, and orcs. They were organized and militarized, but fell quickly to the combined Earth Heroes and Oerth Elf, with the rest falling back into their walled enclosure.
The Heroes interrogated their prisoners and learned that Lord Hrugga, a “Buchveer,” ruled these races, who hid from black, four-legged beasts that roamed the courtyards in small packs, while monkeys guarded the Cistern Station where water was most plentiful, and the Garden of the Plantmaster meant certain death.
Hawkman and Wonder Woman examined the collected weapons and made sure Atom, Hawkman, Melf, Sandman, and Spectre got some good new weapons. Spectre argued for killing the prisoners, but was talked out of it by Atom and the captives were let go.
It was before dawn when they had arrived, but it suddenly became 8 am.
Melf suggested they all go visit the nearby City of Greyhawk. Green Lantern and Wonder Woman suggested splitting up, with half the team staying here to explore and half going to Greyhawk, but Atom, Hawkman, and Spectre were dead set against that -- they would see Greyhawk first, establish a home base, and then decide if they needed to split up…
Anyone interested in joining? Rather than original characters, you can play a member of the Justice Society of America, from Earth, or any known PC from the original Blackmoor or Greyhawk campaigns.

Dunno about actually playing, as I rarely find the time for online games, but I've seen a couple of posts at Comeback Inn about this and the concept sounds really awesome!
