Including printable battlemaps, figures, and props to liven up your gaming table at just the cost of printing out the scenery and figures. I'm planning on creating a lot more of these, the next set is going to be an Arctic Rift (its almost done). I'd be curious to hear what locations you'd like to see?
The mixture of quadrille-grid map on which are hex bases is idiosyncratic, but the artwork is ace!
Excellent observation and I'm surprised this is the first time it got mentioned! Here is my reasoning for the Hex bases:
1. Hexes will fit on squares, but squares don't fit (nicely) on hexes. This makes hexes more flexible. 2. Hexes are easy to cut with scissors. I've seen a lot of these printables that use circular bases. 3. I like the shape of hexes, aesthetically 4. Why not use hex grid then? Hexes are great for wilderness, but most tabletop RPG combat use quadrille-grid, and quadrille works better for architecture generally
