Do you have one? I got one of sorts where I store all my gaming stuff and have a growing amount of fantasy and war type art. Unfortunately it currently doubles as a laundry staging/folding area as well as ironing board room

Sorta. I hung my framed gaming art in the loft: A couple large paintings by Stefan Poag, and an Andy ATOM Taylor rendered map of RJK's Kalibruhn. But most of my gaming books sit in crates, stored in our walk-in closet. (My wife uses 2x the closet space for her clothes as I do for my clothes plus my gaming books!)

I always have at least 1 bookcase of gaming books and 2 bookcases of comic books right in the living room. Does that make the living room my man cave?

My wife and I use our spare bedroom as our library/office/study, and that's where I keep all my gaming books (in addition to our other books, of course). While ostensibly it's a room we both use, I spend far more time in here than she does - that's where I am right now - and the walls are decorated with prints of Conan, Karl Wagner's Kane, Death Dealer, and Darth Vader, in addition to maps of Jakalla and Dolmenwood and a case filled with miniatures. So it's more a de facto "man cave" than a de jure one, but it works for me!

Heh, my game room is wall to wall Manowar (along with a few other metal bands posters/tapestries) with my home world map printed out. Big conference table and all kinds of minis and terrain. I use minis and that primarily for visual effect. One of these days when I can overcome my inherent laziness on uploading pics and finding a good way to post them here I will. Being a single parent home owner helps in decorating a house in gamer style! Haha...
I put the "Man" in the Manowar, man-styling, man-cave, man-decorating and fill in the blank "man" plus adjective/descriptive terminology here billboard.

Nice, yeah I sometimes wonder how I would decor my probable apartment/flat if I were to become a bachelor. Go all fantasy/war/music/horror stuff in the place or still keep it to one off room. For me it's to the point where the art (signed prints and all) have started spreading to other rooms of the house. My gaming room is quite large but as I buy more things periodically and get more prints framed that I bought years ago it starts to spread! My computer room has signed art prints from Easley, Parkinson, Elmore and as soon as I can afford the framing stuff from Diesel and Darlene. My daughters love it, so while the metal stuff is confined to one room the gaming art greats spread to other rooms. I have bought various art prints from the artists at every Gary Con or Gamehole or whatever I attend where I have the artists personalize the prints to my daughters and they love adding to the house's decor. It's a rather unique set up but even their friends like it even though we haven't been able to persuade the friends to actual games like OD&D and such. They play board games or otherwise the parents of said kids who sleepover want me to run D&D 5E so they can "take their kids to a store and buy product" their words not mine. Apparently parents want to have some buying options and OD&D in any of its physical forms is quite pricey. Even if I take the lesser end of things like the Rules Cyclopedia... I wish WotC released a cheaper version of their OD&D reprint rather than that pricey box set that seemed to cater to collectors. I prefer the simplistic rules/rulings and adapting on the fly of the older editions but I also understand the consumerist society we live in where as parents want the "stuff we can just order from Amazon for cheap". Sorry for the thread digression. Man caves and all! Let's do it! Uh, what's an easy way to post pics here?

"Sorry for the thread digression. Man caves and all! Let's do it! Uh, what's an easy way to post pics here?" Hello, for me I have an account at www.imageshack.com, you upload pics to a library there and then copy the url , Paste the url you copied into the message here at odd74 - and it will appear in your message. I don't use the 'insert image' square thing above personally. Hope this helps.

Yea, I have one...
Our basement family room is primarily my office and LEGO room. I have a desk with my laptops on it, tons of LEGO storage, book cases with LEGO, gaming, and model railroading books, a LEGO poster on the wall, some train related art. There is space for a table for my wife to theoretically do crafting on. It has mostly been occupied with presents or stuff for upcoming parties and toys taking a break from the kids. Over the Christmas holiday and in the process of being cleaned up is my LEGO Christmas train layout.

I'm converting an outbuilding (which used to accomodate lumber for decades -- until termites were discovered! ) into a "private pub"- cum-wargaming club. I've got a central area roughly 10x10 ft. carpeted and ready for a large table for manoeuvres aplenty. A dartboard is alread in place, along with some tables, chairs. All I need now is a minibar and a few hot waitresses in dirndls.

I don't have a man cave but I keep my gaming material in my bedroom which I want to set up into a small office. Personally I want a den of some sort and not go with the cave idea.

I live in a 2000 sq. foot woman-cave that my wife has cleverly cast Hallucinatory Terrain upon to allow me to believe that there's some "man space" within. Seriously though, I'm hoping to convert our dining room into a family game room some day - shelves for games/books/paraphernalia and a central, dedicated game table.

I do not have a man-cave, however I do have a visualization for one in my head... If we ever move out of the accursed condo and back into a house, I WILL have one...
