Is there anyone here who has used Kickstarter for a project and/or has used paid artists who can give me a bit of advice?

I pay a cartographer and I pay an artist for my AD&D modules. What would you like to know?

Is there anyone here who has used Kickstarter for a project and/or has used paid artists who can give me a bit of advice? Yes. Can you be more specific? Are you talking about finances, artist recommendations, technical aspects, or what? In general terms, I would say - be very specific about your technical requirements: - Exact dimensions and dpi of finished artwork (I ask for 300 or 600dpi).
- File format (I prefer TIFF or PNG).
- Submission sequence, e.g. rough (just for composition), then sketch (showing all major details), then final (should be no more comments from you at this stage unless the artist made a mistake)

As an artist:
We need to know what the deadline is.
Rights. Do I keep publishing rights? Do you? This affects rates very much
