I have fond memories of watching Apollo, Starbuck, and the others in the old Battlestar Galactica series. Richard Hatch was instrumental in keeping the torch burning for the old Galactica. He will be missed.

“Apollo, we’re very anxious to hear your report.”I just recently, within the last half-year rewatched all of the original BSG shows. They held up surprisingly well. Not as much continuity as you would expect nowadays, but the stories were still interesting and despite the occasional cheesiness of the dialogue, they were all good actors.

Agreed I am watching them now. Acting is good writing / dialogue a little weak or simplistic. Still enjoyable though.

The original BATTLESTAR was a truly unique and fascinating "Only in the 70's" creation ("What if STAR WARS was inspired by old Bible epics rather than Westerns & Samurai flicks?"). Hatch's dedication to keeping the series alive went above and beyond. Very sad. His drive and passion will be sorely missed.
