At long last, after much conversation with all of you guys here on this and especially on @theperilousdreamer's forum, and after much editing and with the help of folks you know and trust, I have now finally entered the world of old school self-publication! A Supplement for Perilous Realms: Suggestions for Pick-up Sessions and Otherwise Rollicking Fantastic Medieval Wargames Campaigns Playable with Original Edition Rules and their Various SimulacraYou can buy it for $4.15 on Lulu. If you buy a copy, you will contribute to my becoming a hundredaire through old school self-publication (can I get a cheer?)! Otherwise, there is also a free PDF. Here is my blog post. Thank you to all of you who helped me and encouraged me along the way. I hope you find it helpful. Share, enjoy, and let me know what you think!

A Post of Thank-you-s. Thank you, delta , for lots of great and helpful interaction and especially for allowing me to use your "target-20" system and terminology. Thank you, waysoftheearth , for lots of interaction, conversation, and especially several rounds of edits. Thank you, austinjimm , for inspiring me to try out my own "retro-supplement," because of your own, awesome, Planet Eris. Thank you, talysman , for your very helpful interpretation of what "life-energy drain" actually means with regards to levels and experience earned, etc. Thank you to all of you who have helped me learn the rules well enough that I can tinker with them in a way that feels helpful and informed. AXIOS

Looks good! I like how, instead of trying to reinvent the whole wheel, you only re-invented the parts you felt needed it the most.

I first encountered that attack method in Sine Nomine's games. Very clever.

Amazons, yeah! And some very nifty art. I dunno, it looks a lot more inspiring than some of the present work. Maybe I need to read some kid's books off of Gutenberg and see what I can find...

Okay, I better add this to my list of books to get in dead tree format. Very interesting.

Congratulations, I am very happy for you!
I want to get into publishing my own old-school products eventually.
