This has been posted on Dragonsfoot, but I feel it pertains more specifically to this forum. For awhile I've considered the idea of running an essentially Men & Magic game in terms of mechanics and class choice - cleric, fighting-man, magic-user (and maybe demi-humans too). If you're anything like me you don't really want a game with the absence of thieves (because they're awesome). The thief as presented in Greyhawk uses a percentile (d100) system for skills, however I feel this departs significantly from the d20/d6 vibe of the 3lbbs. I feel like the d6 is more quintessential OD&D, and thus I have reproduced the class to include a d6 skill system rather than the proposed percentile system. I have attempted to keep it more or less 'by the book', but have added a few different features to give the thief a bit more of an edge in a stripped back game. You can download it here

I like that a lot. Quite elegant.
