I was looking through my Ready Ref Sheets this morning, and I noticed that it has the man-to-man combat matrix from Chainmail in there. I got to thinking it would be fun to actually use it and play a minis game with it, making up the rest of the rules but using that table as the core. So I just wanted to check that it uses 2d6 for attacks vs 1d12. Obviously those 12s needed to hit plate mail become much harder with 2d6.

Cool, thanks. Btw, the Ready Ref Sheets puts the OD&D saves (sans thief) on the same page, as well as Turn Undead. Were those introduced in Chainmail as well?

No, saves and turn undead are OD&D things.
Presumably the Man-to-Man table is included in the Ready Ref Sheets to make them a complete reference for OD&D which refers to Man-to-Man from Chainmail as the primary combat system (with the now traditional d20/level/AC table as an "alternate" system).

No. Nothing cleric-like exists in Chainmail -- the only classes were Fighting Man and Magic-user. So no undead turning. Also there were no saving throws. And as you noted, no thief.
Fighting man was limited to normal man (L1), hero (L4), and super hero (L8).
Magic-user was limited to Wizard, but there is mention of lesser spellcasters at -1, -2, and so on. (They're a bit vague on what those numbers mean, as I recall.)
Hope that helps.

My copy of the RRS does not include the Chainmail missile tables.

My copy of the RRS does not include the Chainmail missile tables. I know I'm a little bummed about that. It doesn't include the OD&D missile ranges or Greyhawk weapon vs ac for missiles either.
