Howdy All,
Has anyone made a flowchart for the man-to-man rules? I think it would be a great help when I use the system at this year's LGGC.
If anyone has attempted this let me know.

Paul

Please do not think me naif, but ... why do you feel it would be helpful?
Or by "flowchart" do you mean something more like "list of steps of the turn in large format?"
After 30-some years of software design, "flowchart" to me means conditional branching, loops, iteration, etc -- complication far beyond anything in Chainmail.

I think "list of steps of the turn in large format" is what he is meaning but in rudimentary flowchart style.
Basic Do This then This, and maybe the occasional If loop if necessary.
Considering how straight forward the majority of the system is even I don't necessarily see the need, for that matter you could just take the basic order of actions inthe round and just print them in larger type so they would be easy to read and spot as needed.
But I can see where some people are more graphically oriented and would find it useful for them.

Well, we DID have charts up on the wall listing movement and melee numbers.
And there were always several copies of the rules around back then, one of which was always open to the "order of the turn" page.
