I didn't see a thread on this, but I have the two SFBC omnibus editions of the Kane fiction (Gods in Darkness, and Midnight Sun) and one is a collection of the novels and the other is a collection of the short stories. I've been trying to decide what is the best order to read these.
I guess the obvious option might be order of writing: 1. Darkness Weaves (1978) (editorially altered abridgement published in 1970 as "Darkness Weaves With Many Shades") 2. Death Angel's Shadow (1973) 3. Bloodstone (1975) 4. Dark Crusade (1976) 5. Night Winds (1978) 6. The Book of Kane (1985)
Anyone have suggestions on this?

That's a fine order. I've read all if those except the Book of Kane. Wagner was a Howard disciple, and I'm pretty sure he avoided any sort of strict chronology.
Awesome, awesome books...

Like kesher I've read all of those except for The Book of Kane, although I do have one of the stories from that collection in an old copy of Sorcerer's Apprentice magazine; that was probably the first Kane story I read, come to think of it.
My personal suggestion would be to pick one at random. I don't think that the stories particularly benefit from reading in any particular order and the huge, chaotic span of Kane's life is perhaps clearer when you pluck adventures haphazardly from it.
