So i figure if i want to start using WW to play some traditional dungeon romps, all i needed to do (to begin with) is replace Kind with Race no?
So i came up with these (using a few clones as reference of course) and would like your feedback.
Human:
Lifespan: 80 years
Size: medium
Base speed: 12” (30 feet).
Racial Adjustments: Humans a varied and versatile bunch, as such they may add +1 to any 2 Ability Scores, or +2 to one (to a maximum of 19).
***I welcome some other way to make humans a valid choice without introducing class restrictions.****
Dwarves:
Lifespan: 350 years
Size: medium
Base speed: 8” (20 feet).
Racial Adjustments: +1 Con -1 Dex
Infravision: Dwarves can see in complete darkness up to 60 feet.
Dwarven Resistance: Dwarves get a +1 bonus to any saving throw vs magic and poisons (including alcohol and drugs).
Stone Affinity: Dwarves get a +1 bonus to checks (Notice/Lore) that are related to living underground and/or stone constructions.
Elves:
Lifespan: 700 years
Size: medium
Base speed: 12” (30 feet).
Racial Adjustments: +1 to Dex or Int -1 to Con.
Nightvision: Elves can see perfectly outdoors during the night, provided there is at least some star or moonlight.
Elven Resistance: Elves are immune to Charm Person and Sleep spells, and to the Paralysis touch of ghouls and other undead.
Keen Senses: Elves get a +1 bonus on Notice checks when searching for secret doors, noticing far away things, listening for faint sounds etc.
Halflings:
Lifespan: 110 years
Size: small
Base speed: 8” (20 feet).
Attribute Adjustment.: +1 Dex, –1 Str.
Lucky: Halflings seem to be favoured by good fortune, as such, once a day they may re-roll any failed roll!
Charming: Halflings are a lovable bunch, as such they gain a +1 on persuade rolls.
Stealthy: Halflings gain the Stealthy ability as per the Scout, and if they choose the Scout as their class, they gain a +1 to their Stealth checks.
It’s Too Big!: Due to their small size Halflings can only use small-sized weapons such as daggers, short-sword, short-bow, hand axe, etc. A battle-axe, longsword or similar weapon would have to be used two handed; and larger weapons such as two-handed swords cannot be used at all.
So thoughts?
