EPT newbie

So I know a little about the world of M.A.R Barker but not a lot. So being a newbie I was thinking of getting one of the two versions that are for sale as pdf

For those that are familiar with these two products which would you recommend for me? I'm not sure if I'd actually run a game there but if I did which would be best to start with?

More than likely I'll adapt what I like to my own campaign world but I'd still be tempted to run there just to try it.

They’re not too different; I would go with the second link, just because it’s cheaper, prettier/polished, and it’s the version that people before you have actually played.

Start with the 1975 TSR EPT book. Everything after uses the version of the material published there.
