The success that METAMORPHOSIS ALPHA has had in the recent kickstart has gotten a few folks talking about other old school RPGs that could get a similar treatment. One of the game titles being tossed around is Gangbusters and since this is the official site to discuss GB I thought I'd at least spread the word a little. Okay, so it's some of the same folks discussing Gangbusters on both boards, but at least it's chatter. Gangbusters got a shout-out at the Goodman Games forum and again at the Troll Lord Games boards.

Rick! Long time, no see! Sorry we don't have so much Gangbusters chatter here, but you are always welcome!

Interesting, actually, that he breaks the column into two parts: why it's a perfect game, and why he doesn't think he'll play it. Actually, his biggest objection appears to be a function of playing online and not a problem with in-person play.

He has some other blog entries of note as well. Additional Gangbuster's Careers: LawyersAn Elaboration of Calvert City (an "actual play" blog post) The "actual play" post links to several places such as the Calvert City 6th Ward which may be a nice resource in wiki format for someone running a game. I noticed several places there that link off to further information. There are a couple of other blog posts there which are tagged "gangbusters" but are more tangentially related. I linked to the most significant ones.
