So I'm wondering how feasible is it for a single player to video into a group that is playing face to face? I've absolutely zero experience with sort of thing. Would Google+ be something that might facilitate this kind of thing? How much hassle might this be? Any advice or experiences would be helpful.
Thanks!

I did that with my first DCC RPG campaign and it worked most the time. I used a second monitor and extra speakers to dedicate to the remote gamer. The main issue came up when we had multiple people tapping in to a ftf game. It would sometimes be difficult for people to hear. Now, being entirely online scales better for multiple players as each person has a dedicated screen and headphones.

If it is just 1 person you are video chatting into a live game I would use skype instead of google +. Skype person to person video chat is free and easy. Google+ allows for free multiple person video chat but you don't need that.
Just use a laptop on the game table and face it towards the DM and tabletop.
Just a suggestion, good luck

I have a player who frequently joins my game via Skype. It generally works pretty well. I just set up my iPad at the far end of the table facing towards me (the DM). While it isn't perfect, it's better than him not being able to play at all.

Skype sounds like the better option. Thanks for the input. He's a member of my f2f group who's moving out of the area, and we'd like to keep gaming together. I was just wondering how it might work logistically.
