Hey folks, I am wondering if anyone out there has made a "revised common monster reference table," that includes alignment, in alphabetical order, and preferably in something like excel (so searchable by other "tags" as well), that combines all the NPCs even mentioned across the LBBs and official supplements with page number refs for descriptions across the various books?
If not, I guess I have a new project for myself!
(Sorry I tried to use the "search" to look this up first but the darn thing just feels so unwieldy to me and never seems to generate results that help me.)
Sorry, I put this in "men and magic" because I was looking at alignment tables when I was thinking about it. (I guess that is testimony to the confusion, right?) If an administrator wants to move this to "monsters and treasure" that may make better sense. My bad.

There was a thread that one of the posters here made. I can't find the thread but I have the excel sheet. View AttachmentI posted All the OD&D Monsters a while back; is that the one you mean?

Yeah, I think that Simon's list is the most complete that I've seen. Too complete, in fact, as I don't use many of the monsters there. I'm too traditional, I guess.

Zenopus: I love your ref sheet. I've downloaded it. I really like your web site too, and I've "bookmarked" it. Thanks!
bestialwarlust: thanks for digging up the famed PDF of waysofearth: it is most rad!
waysofearth: I've posted a big thank you and EXALT over on your original thread. But I'll do it here too: thank you and exalts!
Finarvyn: I would enjoy reading some elaboration on what you mean by "too traditional"! How strict is your OD&D? Just curious for fun reasons.
Thanks, all, for all this help and fun!
