Is Anyone Willing to Start (re-start) a PBP EPT Game Here?

I think you need to be much more detailed in the type of game you are looking for.

Have you ever played EPT before and if so, which rules version(s)?
If not, do you prefer more dungeon crawl or clan intrigue orientated games?
Do you expect it to be an OD&D game with a unique setting or an anthropological re-enactment of an alien culture?

Do you expect magic items to be common or rare?
What type of character do you see yourself as? Good/Evil, Warrior/Priest/Sorcerer/Adventurer
How much background of the game do you know? (You expect to start as a foreigner or as a citizen?)

How frequent would the updates have to be to hold your interest?
Have you played PBP games before?
How many people do you think would have to commit to playing to have a viable player group?
Would you be interested in a solo adventure?
How much of a "Story Gamer" are you (or expect/tolerate)?
How verbose do you think posts should be?

The people that have run PBP games before know how hard it is to keep one going and have to decide if it is even worth the effort to start one or not.
No matter how tempting an EPT game is, having it die is very disappointing. (Over the holidays is about the worst time to start one.)

Well, I think much depends on your comfort level. Those of us who are well versed might prefer to be clan members or citizens, while newcomers might like to be foreigners in Jakalla. I prefer the clan cousins approach myself with a mixture of intrigue and conflict. I like to play non humans as well. I think starting chaeacters offf at about 4th level gives them more of a "real" level of ability in Tekumel.

Really?

I've played in PBP games for many, many years. I expressed interest in a game of EPT. And I think it's up to the potential GM to talk about what kind of game he'd like to run, and then solicit input from prospective players.

Let's allow the suggestion to follow its own course, shall we?

Is there a consensus on what would attract the most potential players?

Roping Badger back into playing would be quite the coup.
