My friends, I have a new AS&SH related article in Gygax Magazine #2, available now at Gen Con and soon to be sent out to subscribers. My piece is called Weird Vibrations, and it is described by the editor as follows: "Leave the familiar realms of fantasy for strange new lands." You're going to love the beautiful cover by Jeff Easley: And here is the TOC:

Señor Ghul, are you able to shed more light on what your article entails? Is it an adventure? Other?
Gracias,
Scaly D

Essentially it is an article that examines a story by HPL ( The Music of Erich Zann) and another by CAS ( The Devotee of Evil). The article explains how such tales (in place of high fantasy tales of hobbits, elves and so forth -- not that there's anything wrong with that) can be used as inspiration for S&S/weird fantasy gaming. The focus is on dread, sorcerous vibrations that permeate the fabric of the universe; this being a palpable force that may be tapped by the initiated. That sort of thing.

Or stumbled upon unwittingly by the uninitiated, who then perish horribly. Your article certainly sounds awesome and very esoteric. I'll have to pick it up.
