I've been toying with this for a while and was inspired to finish it for my buddy Matt "Mythmere" Finch's Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day recently. It's a Psionics system that is completely unlike 1974's era published rules for same. Obviously, it's written to be compatible with S&W but can be used with any OD&D compatible game with little or no work. Take a look. After a short while and pending feedback, I'll make a PDF available via Wobbly Goblin's drop-box. dubeers.blogspot.com/2013/04/s-options-psionics-late-beta-draft.html

I enjoyed your write up alot. Would love to see it as a Wobbly Goblin pdf when you fine tune it to your liking. Exalt for the effort.

It will be a Wobbly Goblin product. I'm mulling over the latest editions for a day or two before beginning layout. You know ... just in case!
You never know when somebody will offer a simple but brilliant suggestion!

Thank you! I'm working a psionicist class and a variant on making psionic more common. I'm looking to have a PDF available today or tomorrow.

It's pretty good. I wouldn't use it, myself, but that's only because I have my own psionics ideas, and I play favorites...

This is great CD!
I'll be able to make use of it for a Dark Sun game I've been thinking about.
With regard to the psionicist class, did you mean to say they may choose to roll on Table I with each new level? Table II refers to advancement of rank based on ability sums.

First of all, thank you for the kind words!
Yes, that should read Table I and not II. The tables were rearranged to improve the presentation and I overlooked changing that bit of text.
Basically, I was trying to say the Psionicist could either choose to have one each randomly determined Discipline and Wild Talent ... or he could rely on chance and let the dice "decide" for him.
