After a conversation with Hans Cummings at Gary Con V, Ian and I have decided to enter the AS&SH game into this year's ENnies Awards contest held at Gen Con 2013. The first big hurdle is to get nominated for some categories. Wish us luck! Cheers, Jeff T.

"Why not us?", indeed. My baby, Atomic Highway, got nominated for the Best Rules ENnie in 2010, so there's no reason you can't make it at least that far. Colin

Is there anything concrete we can do to help? AS&SH certainly deserves a nomination for its production values alone - and in my opinion deserves to win! ;D

I'm just reading up on things myself and preparing to send out 6 copies of the game to the judges. Beyond that, I'm afraid I'm a bit in the dark . . .

The ENnies judging is literally in the hands of the appointed Judges. However, fans can make their voice heard by voting for their favourite publisher.

Jeff--- You should definitely be able to secure a nomination, at the least, and I think you stand a good chance of winning one or more categories. Part of the challenge on your end will be to figure out which categories to compete in, unless that's all decided by the judges now; it wasn't BITD, but things have probably changed since I last went through this process in '04. You should be able to ping the user "reveal" (real name Tony Law) on ENWorld and various other sites to get some hard intelligence on how the process works, beyond the info @ www.ennie-awards.com/blog/rules-and-how-to-enter/

Hi Allan,
I've done a bit of digging on this. These days the judges decide the categories for which they nominate products. Also, it appears Tony Law has stepped down from ENnies involvement. Regardless, thanks for the vote of confidence! A nomination would be great! Standing a chance to win would be a fine honor.
Cheers, Jeff T.
