Fellows, I'm pleased to announce that our latest free resource is now available at the AS&SH web site! Drunken Debauchery is a fun resource created by Colin Chapman. This 2-page document features a random generator designed just for those special times when the adventurers are between adventures, and they have returned to civilization to carouse and spend their hard-won gold. Some results are humiliating, others glorious, and others still might serve as excellent springboards for further adventures. This table is a lot of fun, and I look forward to utilizing it in my own campaign. The author went through great lengths to cobble it together, and something tells me that some of the results may be based off errrr . . . personal research. Cheers, Jeff T.

It says I don't have access ...
Specifically: "You do not have permission to preview drafts."

Jeff you are starting to develop a nice group of free offerings on the website. Thanks so much to those who have contributed! Thanks to Colin again for the most recent contribution. Morgan

Ah ha ha ha that's hilarious! My players are sure to suffer, er I mean benefit, from this table. Thanks to Colin for another great resource and to Jeff for making it available.

Colin did all the hard work. I just gave it a light edit and then ran it through InDesign for quick and easy layout.

Glad folks like it, though it's a bit of light fluff, and the real download I'm looking forward to is Arms of Hyperborea. Thanks again to Jeff for the edit and layout, and if people do use it, please let me know how it goes. Colin

Vey nice! In the past I've used Jeff Rients' Carousing rules to great effect. This seems to be in similar spirit.

It was inspired by Gav Norman's work, which was in turn inspired by Jeff Rients' work, IIRC. But Gav's table was too random (results were completely linear, which didn't reflect the fact that certain activities would be more or less common), and contained entries that just didn't fit the S&S style I was looking for, not to mention some which were just a bit too silly as well. So, I took the basic idea and built it into something I wanted instead, then adapted it to the ASSH ruleset.

Colin, thanks for creating such a great table. Downloaded it a few minutes ago and besides using it to help part players from their money, I can see it as being useful for establishing the hook for the character's next adventure, i.e. Having to follow through on a boast made the night before, running to out on a newly discovered spouse, being on the run from the new spouse's henchmen, etc.
I'm also happy that it is not overly setting specific. I can see using this for a number of fantasy based games that I have.
Jeff, that you for the time in getting this laided out and online.

You're welcome. Like I said, if anyone uses it I'd love to hear what happened and how it was received. Colin
