Just today I was thinking that Holmes could be easily transformed into a 2d6 game. Thanks for those links, jdn2006, and have another exalt. BTW, you'd better edit your thread title.

I wrote something vaguely similar (but nowhere near as comprehensive) on rolling with six-siders here. I made some polyhedral die images for the faces of six-siders (lower down in the linked thread). I even went so far as to contact a custom die manufacturer about printing some of those bad boys, but it turned out to be way too expensive to be worthwhile It's way more practical to simply do them by hand.

I printed some of those die faces out and glued them to some dice and they work pretty well. Elmers Glue All works well with my dice. I looked at having some cutom dice made and it was around $3 - $7 (they wouldn't give an exact quote) a side. For a few dice that wouldn't be too bad, but paper and glue is cheaper.
