Benoist posted his in another thread; I thought I'd start one devoted to the topic, since I've just spent the night re-organizing mine. I moved some less-loved games into storage to make room for expansion on my Ikea cube thingy.
The framed thing on the wall above is a Scroll of Thingol, as conceived by artist Tom Loback in the 80s – when I bought it from him at the Compleat Strategist (in my native NYC).
Atop the shelves are a wide variety of daggers and seaxes, in case I get ambushed while perusing my game collection.
I just counted 32 AD&D hardbacks, including 8 PHBs, 4 DMGs, 4 MMs, 3 UAs, 3 FFs, 3 MMIIs, 1 D&DG (+1 L&L), and one each of all the later orange-spine books. Most are gaming copies; some are pristine and in plastic.
There are several hundred modules categorized in the boxes, and about 100 issues of Dragon from the 80s.
Oh, and my other AS&SH set is on my dining room table, next to a notebook full of feverish drunken scribblings...

Very nicely done, Joe. Such pristine organization! My collection is a mess of items, some in my office, some in my attic, and some in my mother's basement. No, I don't live in the latter.

It's only organized because I'm stuck at home with a stomach flu, with lots of time on my hands, and hopped up on Maker's Mark.

Nicely organized. My RPG collection was that large a couple of years ago, but I ruthlessly sold everything I had never and likely would never use or play. These days, my collection could fit within three or four of those shelf cubes, and is basically a slew of Talislanta, Hellas, Changeling the Lost, OSR stuff (ASSH, LL, ACKS, DCC, a nice collection of modules and supplements), my own rpg work (such as Atomic Highway), and some generic stuff ala TOAD, RECG, Metamorphica, the systemless Freeport books, a felt-lined mahogany dice tray, custom leather dice cup, and antique croc-skin box containing my collection of precision dice.

I regret having sold off my Talislanta stuff. It was one of those systems I always wanted to run, but never got around to.

We played Tal for about 3 years almost 30 years ago (I think its that old) Very original material and lots of fun. Morgan

Would you consider running Atomic Highway at Gary Con? If someone wanted to pay for my international return flight from the UK to the US to attend, absolutely. cheers! Colin

The stereotype of the basement-dwelling geek doesn't apply to the UK, if only because the vast majority of British houses don't have basements, nor loft-conversions either.

The basement of my grandmother's house in Brooklyn was a hotbed of gamin' from 1980-87. It was fully furnished, but like any Brooklyn basement was prone to incursions of giant roaches – 2 hit die monsters I'd fight off with a broomstick.
Alright men, let's see some more game shelves!

Hey Scaly!
I was glad to get my AFS mags! Great stuff! The postal driver did manage to fold my package in half trashing the coil binding, but was still a great read.
This is just the have to read pile and some great board games I keep in the house. The rest of the collection is out in a warehouse....

This is just the have to read pile Morgan Yeah, when I re-organized I left one shelf cube free for the to-read pile, so I can get those off my desk, dining table, etc. RPG books have a way of multiplying and taking over flat surfaces!

I have relatively little––some old-school D&D stuff (ACKS and AD&D), a fair amount of Pathfinder (not a great system IMO, but pretty popular––I run it in an old-school style with lots of improvisation), GURPS, Lejendary Adventures Essentials, CoC 7th edition, and some modules.

Yes they do! If there were some catastrophe and no more books were ever written. I would have material for many years to come. There is something comforting in that... ;D Morgan
