For those of you running straight LBB games, do you do anything special to adapt monsters from later supplements or Dragon magazine ?
Do you limit monsters to just 1 attack at 1D6 in most cases, or do you keep the multiple attacks or?

1 attack, unless something about the physical form suggests an ability to attack more than one opponent simultaneously (like hydra or chimera.)
1d6 per 4 HD of size.
Armor is based on what the monster's hide seems similar to, and is never better than AC 2.
The hard part is the tendency for later monsters to have laundry lists of powers/spells. I've taken to combining these into broader bundle abilities, like "use any fire or shadow spell of up to 4th level" (which would work for demonic entities.) I tend to drop "X uses per day" restrictions; either they can do it at will, or only once until a significant time has passed.

that makes sense. "3 times per day" probably wont be a relevant limit in any encounter in any event.
