Please have articles in by June 2, 2008.
If you want to discuss ideas for submissions, go ahead and do so in this thread. (Or just write them up and send them along.)

Since our esteemed editor requested it, my plan is to produce a wilderness adventure and miscellaneous encounters based around the Outdoor Survival map, which I've now decided I'll tie (somewhat) to the Ruined Monastery adventure I wrote for Issue #1.
I have a couple or three other ideas for submissions but I plan to concentrate on the wilderness adventure first.

Please be inspired by whatever maps you want, but I don't think the OS map is public domain, so please submit your own map with the article. Other than that, sounds fan-dang-tastic!

I might try and talk to Robert Conley, who did a reimagining of the OS map specifically for use with D&D. Maybe he can help me with this.

I'm getting close to finishing Part Three of The Wilderness Architect. Once that's done, I would like to submit The Wilderness Architect to Fight On!. (So comments, questions, etc. would be welcome in the current thread.)
Calithena, would you like this as a three-part series, or as a single LONG article? (The maps would make interesting back cover art - just saying.)

Very interested, agree on the idea of using one color map as the back cover art, also this material picks up in a much more concrete way on the 'setting up your sandbox' article I wrote for issue 1. So I'd say, write the whole thing up if you can, and we'll try to put it all in issue 2, but if we can't we'll split it up! Thank you!

Can the interior cover have something on it? If so, we could go with an unbound cover that has dungeon maps printed on the interior each issue that effectively becomes a DM screen.
I'm just going with wacky ideas here. =)
