I've got it. It's fine. In fact, I dare say it kicks ass. (Which isn't to say there's nothing to improve on, but that's what issue 2 is for!) I'll go ahead and start promoting it around the net later tonight, then get back here to talk about PDF stuff and start planning issue 2 with y'all!

My copy shipped yesterday by slow boat to Canada so it may be a while before I see it. Now I'm thinking of all the ways I could have improved my submission...

On lulu's pages for the first issue, the right-hand column of each page has some text cut-off along the right-hand edge. That's merely a lulu thing, right? I'm assuming the actual magazine doesn't have that problem? Overall, it looks great!  |

No, the cutoff is because their viewer is defaulting to 6x9, if you use the plus buttons to increase size you can see the whole page (though not all at once).
It 'feels' old school to me. Looking forward to planning for issue 2. I am swamped at home though, so it may be slow the next few days.

Well, I'm bummed.
It's Friday, the mail's already here, and my copy of Fight On! isn't here yet. That wouldn't be such a big deal, but I always have stuff shipped to work, instead of home, so I'll have no chance of seeing it until Monday.
Sigh.
You guys that have one, read it an extra time for me this weekend, okay? Thanks!

It is totally sweet! Very nicely done! The layout is clean and easy to read. Some of the art is pro-quality stuff. I'm looking forward to sitting down and devouring all of it later tonight after the kiddies go to bed. Two thumbs up!
