I ordered the +4 and +8 compilations, and and I love these big fat glorious tomes of dungeon-y joy, but the full-page black & white reproductions of the original covers are, well, far more black than white. like, illegibly so. I'll post a few photos when I get home, but I was wondering: is this normal? were the covers adjusted for grayscale printing in the compilations, or left as-is?
also, I was wondering if the softcover of the third compilation would be made available again. I'd love to have a complete set!

Hi Mark -
I am not sure what to say about the Lulu printing. They didn't used to come out as dark; it seems like there is some variation. Sorry about that. I will review it once we have issue #14 out.
It will be a while yet before the third softcover is out (two years after issue #12 was released would be a rough target date) but it will come out eventually.
Thanks for your interest and support!
Cal

thanks for getting back to me on this. I've uploaded photos of the affected pages to Photobucket and linked them below. it's not as bad as I thought it was. nothing game-related is affected, it's just uglier than I'd like. I'm not too worried -- I've had good luck with Lulu customer service in the past on botched print jobs, and I'll get in touch with them if I decide it bothers me to that point. s103.photobucket.com/albums/m123/mark_argent/fight%20on/

Mark, your link is asking for a login.
Maybe better to post the picture as an image. Use the "img" tag in brackets, then put in the url for the picture, then the "/img" tag in brackets again.
