Art Request Thread

This is the thread where general art requests will be placed. All previous requests are null and void (though if you're working on something already and you like it go ahead and send it to calithena at gmail dot com).

Here's how it works:

Artists get the same deal as authors do. By submitting your art you give Fight On! the right to publish that artwork in the format it's originally published in in the original issue it's printed in in perpetuity. You retain ownership and all other rights, meaning that if you want you can turn around and sell the same picture to someone else or post it all over the internet before the issue of Fight On! it's in even hits the newsstands across the country.

If you see a picture request here and you want to do it and think you can do a good job on it, just post that you're taking the picture so other artists don't duplicate your effort. Then email it to me (or post or link to it on the thread here) when it's ready, hopefully within a week or so of the request (this is B&W line art after all).

Alternately, if you know of an image in the public domain that would suit a given request, you may submit that as well (whether you're an artist or not).

First art request: I need at least one picture to go with James Maliszewski's dungeon "The Ruined Monastery". Here are three ideas:

1) An ancient pool surrounded by slimy stone walls, with moonlight reflecting off it.

2) Two or three goblins digging at the end of a tunnel, with a spindly-legged wolf with a giant head accompanying them.

3) An evil cleric with skeleton servitors in the ancient, ruined study of a good cleric.

If you want to do one or more of these just post to call dibs on the ones you want. Thanks!

The legendary Stefan Poag has contributed an image covering need #3. I'd still really like it if someone wanted to volunteer for #2 though. Thanks Stefan!

OK, there's really only one pic left I need for the issue: a creepy, maybe sort of even Brom or Bill Sinkiewicz-like picture of a wizard with a twisted sort of space-alien thing on his back, casting spells over the wizard's shoulder (maybe in conjunction with the wizard, let your mind go wild).

I've got to have this to make the issue work out right. Any volunteers? I'm not going to get this from public domain or artist friends, I need someone to draw it. I can send text to elaborate the idea to anyone who's willing to try. Please help!

Awesome, Germille! I got another pic offline but I'd like to use this one as well. Get it the way you want it ASAP and post a final version here.
